  • is this tank pretty big to add live coral n rock ? i have a 10 gallon tank and it seems small to me so i was wondering if i should get a 14 gallon or 29 gallon

  • Two things are majorly wrong with the location of your tank.

Issue1-The tank is in front of a window, this is a huge NO-NO as it can be very drafty, and the lighting is not good to have on your tank, ext.

Issue2-The tank is directly in front of an air vent, a huge NO-NO for similar reasons, as it can drastically change the environment of the tank.

Issue3-This leads me to think that you did not do your research because any book or forum will tell you not to do so, did you research this project?

  • @ajz386 issue1- yes i know its next to the window. The only problem i know with keeping a tank next to the window is the increased possibility of algae growth and possible temp increases. Neither of these 2 things are an issue. The shades are closed 24/7.

Issue2- The air vent that you see was just temporary and was only a window fan. It was placed in that window to cool the tank down, because my house is too hot.

Issue3- Yes I have done my research, try a less demanding approach next time.

  • looks great. Good job on the video also.

Are you going to mod the filtration?

  • @1mkwiet thanks. and yes i actually just got done taking out the false door in chamber one. This will make room for my heater, so it is not visible in the tank. And I also just removed the bioballs and i will be replacing them will rubble rock when i start to cycle my tank

  • looks nice

  • good luckkk
