@Korraganitar I wished he was in his other form it looked BA. I think part of the reason Mithos is epic is because he is considered a Hero by the people and also misguided to save his sister instead of just being all out evil like typical RPGS.

On the night in Flanoir Lloyd is alone in his room and then someone knocks on the door. You have to reject at all. Kratos then comes and talks to Lloyd. In the tower of salvation Zelos betrays you and you have to defeat him. In the fight against Yggdrasil joins Kratos in your party ^^

They don't affect Mithos's second form. It's just that Mithos's second form is a combination of them all. This is actually for good reason. Mithos and his sister were Judged, Neglected, and Fugitives. The three bosses are made up of Mithos's feelings of resentment towards the humans who did all this to Half-Elves. Hence, Mithos's second form is nothing but his emotions towards humans. That's why it looks like a combination of them all.

@Ouroburos14 and its eazy to notice that each boss, neglected, juged, and fugatuve, were related to what each person that lloyd saved, showed there pasts in being eather, negelected (Zelos/Kratos, Shena), Judged(Rain, Genis), fugatives(Persea, Reagal). And the artifacts that you obtain like the spider, the shattered glass, or the knive had somthing to relate to the lesson that had been learned. that part was my favorite part of the game

Just to say: Depending on the person you chose to talk, he or she will be replaced by collete. If you chose Kratos, then Collete will be kidnapped at Torrent Forest.

I might be wrong about Collete replacing the kidnnaped person, but I'll know for sure once i get on this part. I chose Regal (don't know how o_o')

You know the Flanoir scene where people knock on Lloyd's door? If you say "no" to the three that come to your door you get Kratos and he later rejoins your party. If you pick anyone other than Kratos, you keep Zelos and Kratos doesn't join your party.

I never understood his 2nd form either. One minute he's a normal angel, the next he's some....thing....yeah....that probably called for a transitional cutscene.....

I only noticed it recently, but I noticed his second form is a combined form of the three mini bosses you fight. The weird looking machine ones when you resolve your other characters problems. I guess its like a physical form of Mithos' own unresolved hatred and feelings. That's how I saw it anyway.

So when I got to Mithos, I was over-powered. I killed him in his little robot forms in about 30ish hits (maybe) with Lloyd lol...

Zelos, hands down. His "personal" rocks, and watching him fight is just about the most hilarious thing ever. All those twists and turns. :D And for some reason, I find him easier and more fun to play as over Kratos. PLUS, you get to do so much more stuff in the end when you have Zelos. Kratos is cool, but the game is better when you have Big Z. (I'm taking this way too seriously... Heh)

Thankfully though if you do decide to choose Kratos over Zelos I believe you can just do all the costume side quests and the things at the Arena before you lose Zelos, that way you get all the benefits and can get Kratos too.
