bah... 5800 is slow :( I have seen it. N95 8gb is still the best to me, but 5800 has touchscreen... uncomparable to real iPhone that has the best touchscreen.

Actually I don't agree with your opinion... The 5800 has an equivalent processor and the OS is far from slow, quite responsive in fact. Also, it has a better battery span than the iPhone... Not to mention the fact that the iPhone cannot record videos.

Indeed I agree, i wasn't saying that the iPhone OS isn't smooth, far from it... Also the multi-touch system is super good.

But like i mentioned, the OS on the 5800XM is suprisingly smooth aswell as the touch system, and if you take a closer look at the two you wont be able to see where the iPhone is so much better that it costs twice as much. Just my opinion.

iphone can run apps in the background when jailbroken using an app call backgrounder and an app call processor to managed it. u can changed theme using an app call winterboard

They could optimize this a little bit. But honestly it's only for the sake of being flashy and impressing other people. The cool transitions when switching apps on the iPhone is what makes it look cool. Nokia simply chose to be practical and didn't include them. The S60 touch UI is quite fast, but not as flashy. But it's okay for me. As long as it gets the job done quickly.
