I remember this.I remember how this affected my father.I was a very light blond haired kid and very fortunate and also got a shot at life.This poor little guy didn`t.Very heartbreaking.
The laetrile didn't fail he just got it too late. It is a crying shame to see children die, but man has hidden the information of what can cure any illnesses we may suffer.
What a sad story. As the mother of a child with a life-threatening illness, I can tell you that the daily decisions we have to make as parents are heartbreaking, guilt-ridden and emotionally hard as hell.
I dont share religious beliefs with Chad's mom, but I understand her motive. The need to protect and help our children is a force like no other.
I truly hope she has peace in knowing that she did what she felt was best for her son. That's all any of us can do.

Just shaking my head over this. I was at UMass during that time and Chad was even mentioned in the yearbook.
