Great show! Big devotee of Shiva. How to get this show in Tamil, or English Sub. I really want Bollywood to release this show in other languages. There are many Shiva devotees in Tamil.
Shiva is Supreme for Shaivas, Vishnu/Krishna is supeme for Vaishnavas...Similarly Shakti is supreme for Shaktas...Its childish to fight over such petty matters...

He'll have it after Mata self-cremates herself & is born as Parvati again & once again married to Him & closes both His eyes. Then the Third eye first appears according to Shatarudriya in Shiv Mahapuran. Also if you see no Chandra and No Ganges flowing since Bhagirath hasn't done penance yet to bring Ganga to Prithvilok. His hair must have been free since He didn't have JATA back then.
The 3rd eye comes about much later, after Sati is reborn as Parvati. If i am not wrong, Parvati closes Shiv's eye, which causes darkness in the whole world. Out of that the 3rd eye comes about.
can somebody please tell me how get the Rudrashtakam which plays when sati first meets Dadhichi..u get a lot of different versions but the one in this serial is just amazing..somebdy please help!!

@uthishtabharat ,It is a very childish claim,Krishna worshiped mata yashoda .Krishna did patha pooja to his friend sudama .so can u claim sudama is god ? the lord always loves his devotees and his always waiting to serve them .Lord shiva is the ultimate devotee as he himself says that in padma puran when matha parvathi asks him my lord the three worlds are meditating upon you and who does you meditate on,lord shiva replies "ram" .
@sureshfire No direspect for lord shiva ,In fact lord Ram himself says that one who is envious of lord shiva cannot be my devoteee .This is a perfect example of what happened to dhaksha .similarly lord shiv states that one cannot become his devotee if he is envious of lord ram.ex rama,agasur,vritasur and so many who were lord shiva's devotees but they did not want to accept the supremacy of lord vishnu.

This show's epicness is increasing day by day! Sets->Dialogues->Brilliant cast and now music... MUSIC seems out of the world... modern yet deeply rooted in Indian Magical Tunes! All background and character music as well as vocals are aptly created. The entry music for 'madnike' is so enticing and awesome... they should release all soundtracks on CDs. Thumbs up if you think so!!!

I'm a non Hindu but the quality of this show has really made me hooked to this show. The grandeur of Vedic cultures really require such grand presentation. :) Saw people fighting on matter of "who is God of God" and "degradation of one deity", I don't know much but for me this episode presented the necessity of complete ideology of Hinduism... of course many know better. However I wanted to express my satisfaction on the quality of show. :)
I am also vaisnavaite.There is nothing degradation of Lord Vishnu.These all are our Hindu God.Equally respect to all.Brahma,Vishnu,Shiv all to gether Completes the Universe.
As a vaisnavaite we cannot tolerate these degradation to Lord Vishnu.If we have some money we can also make serials like this for Lord Vishnu.As per histrocial records Vishnu puran is first puran written examples of maurya kindgom ,shishunaga kindgom like references there,chnadra gupta maurayan reference there.
My point is the serial is for Lord shiva it is good but donot degrade Lord Vishnu to show Shiva's importance.Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are form of Paramatma the God the One the Utlimat

settings of this serial is very nice and picturisation is also excellent.Of course this serial is for Lord Shiva,But why the director want to hurt lord vishnu devotees.If u read purnas and u can see 6 purnas devoteed to Lord vishnu and Lord Vishnu is no way inferior to Lord Shiva.Ramayana and Mahabratha main characters Rama and Krishna is also of Lord Vishnu.Bagvat Purna says He (Vishnu) is supreme.I never want to degrade Lord shiva.But many serials related to shiva is doing that.

Mata sati ko rudraaksh kaisey mil sakta hai.. jabki Rudraksh ki utpatti hi baad mein huyee jab wo yagya mein sati ho gayi thi aur Bhagwaan shiv ne jab unke jaltey huye shareer ko lekar Taandav kiya tha..... Doosre Rudraaksh pani mein nahi tairta hai...per aap logon ne dikhaaya hai.

@nijabeetle no ... i dont think so... amish has an entirely different take on shiva puran..he portrays shiva as a mortal tribe leader from tibet who chances to be the mahadev due to the occurence of his blue throat...and daksha appears to be a hardcore worshipper of shiva..contrary to the reality... different approach... :)

settings of this serial is very nice and picturisation is also excellent.Of course this serial is for Lord Shiva,But why the director want to hurt lord vishnu devotees.If u read purnas and u can see 6 purnas devoteed to Lord vishnu and Lord Vishnu is no way inferior to Lord Shiva.Ramayana and Mahabratha main characters Rama and Krishna is also of Lord Vishnu.Bagvat Purna says He (Vishnu) is supreme.I never want to degrade Lord shiva.But many serials related to shiva is doing that.

Sab kuchh sunder hai per main story se thoda sahmat kam hoon... aur khaasker Rudraaksh ko lekar. Mata sati ko rudraaksh kaisey mil sakta hai.. jabki Rudraksh ki utpatti hi baad mein huyee jab wo yagya mein sati ho gayi thi aur Bhagwaan shiv ne jab unke jaltey huye shareer ko lekar Taandav kiya tha..... Doosre Rudraaksh pani mein nahi tairta hai...per aap logon ne dikhaaya hai.

@nijabeetle no ... i dont think so... amish has an entirely different take on shiva puran..he portrays shiva as a mortal tribe leader from tibet who chances to be the mahadev due to the occurence of his blue throat...and daksha appears to be a hardcore worshipper of shiva..contrary to the reality... different approach... :)
