i was having a bad day until i saw all these videos of peggy. sharp as a whip and snarky as it gets! thank you peggy for making my day! and thank you mike for uploading these videos!
if possible.. could somebody direct me to a picture of this beautiful lady in her youth days? I'm sure she looked just as lovely as she did at 100.. but it's always interesting to see. =)
I would call you beautiful, but it is a poor, worn-out, over-worked word. There are no adjectives in the language fresh enough to describe such pristine brilliancy. All of their brightness has been worn off by misuse. Think of all the things that have ever been called beautiful, and then look at you! You are worthy of a new vocabulary.
Way to go Peggy - I don't know you but I just fell in love with you already!! I just posted a video response of a song I wrote for a woman, Luemily Ryder of Redidng, Connecticut, who lived to 104 ( in the song she is 102). God bless you Peggy!! And hey MikeInVentura > I was born in Ventura County and have family there (the Letvinchucks)
The less you eat the longer you live. My Grandma is almost 90 and she eats garbage and soda, but hardly not alot. Look how skinny she is. That's probably your answer
@TheChiinkynoodle LOL LOL I agree about the sugar being crap. What in the world. Regardless, I don't think it 's in the sugar, it's in the genes and being happy. Gotta love this gal Peggy. You rock girl.
She eats only cans, transformed food with lots of sugar, sodium, cholesterol, GMOs and she is 100 years old! Take that down your troat, you vegan organic food dictators!
@carocatho lol I think its because she is so thin. Calorie restriction causes longevity. My boyfriend's grandma lived to 101 on regular food but she was very thin and never ate much.
My grandma started eating just sweets when she was about 75 til she died at 85. As happens with many older people, sweetness was the only thing she was able to taste anymore. However when she was younger she worked on a farm and ate all fresh vegetable. I don't think you can use this as an excuse to smother yourself with sugar.
My mother lived to almost 81 and she ate like this and never did any exercise. At 43, I realize I can be dead at any second, so I just do whatever I want to do, let the drugs clean it up.
I love this- I eat nothing but sugar and look and feel like a kid into my 30's...beer makes you smell and act /look old.
