Lots of people mashing 91 and 92 together. 1991 was when Randall got hurt week 1 and Eagles had all those QBs. The Defense was #1 in rush, pass, turnovers in 91. 1992 was the "Bring it home for Jerome" year. Reggie White rallied the team, they started 4-0 and they finally won a playoff game. These were also the first two "Dick" Kotite years as head coach. Think what Randall could have been with a decent offensive coach.
i missed this game when i was 15 bc i had some kinda practice or something. so i called my dad n asked him about the game. he said son-the eagles had a goal line stand and...um..well...errrr....umm....the tv shook
Lots of people dont know Eagle history..this was 1992...Bubby brister was not an Eagle until 1993. Jerome Brown dies in the summer of 92..Randall plays the whole year, except for the incedent in Dallas when he is benched by Kotite with JIm McMahon. 1991 was the season when the Eagles, with a ALIVE Jerome Brown have to go through the year with no Randall, due to his injury suffred in week 1 against Green Bay..91 was the season with Randall, McMahon,Ryan, Goebel, and Kemp.
I'll make it more simple for you. Jerome Brown dies. Reggie White calls on team to play hearts out and dedicates season to deceased Jerome Brown. Horrible injuries happen to top QBs. Eagles use Cunningham, McMahon, Kemp, Goebel, Ryan, Archer and Kieth Byars at QB. Offense is thus a train wreck. Eagles Defense has statistically one of the best seasons ever but it isn't enough to make up for Offense issues or they would have won super bowel. So no bullshit and it makes perfect sense.
@matthewbaniewicz The reason thier o-line couldn't get any push is because of a guy named jarome brown. Wile he only played a few years because of his death from a car accident, he was the best defencive tackle i've ever seen. He actually took was warren sapp under his wing and taught him alot. When he died, warren sapp told the press that jarome brown was the best defencive tackle he ever seen and wore his number on the back of his helmet (99).
@christphert He had already passed when this game was being played. Did you not watch the first 5 seconds? Unless you think the spirit of Jerome Brown stopped Johnny Bailey or something like that....
@Aso21Raiders Actually, it was the spirit of Jerome Brown that stopped the Cards. At the beginning of the '92 season, Reggie White told the press that the season was dedicated to Jerome. Had it not been for the lack of offense and having 7 different starting QBs, they would have.

Byron Evans was so under-appreciated by fans. Just the silent wall.

@lionel21000 Who had 7 different starting QB's? And who is they? And they would have done what?
The first half of your post was bullshit, the second half didn't make sense.
