I have one question doh, im not from the states and have 3 years until i graduate from high school do you apply for MIT during the last year of high school because on the site it said that they would send you some report and a mid year report for your teachers to fill, and do you know how financial aid works for international students?would be awesome if u replied , i realize this is a few years old

My GPA was around 3.6-3.7 or so, so yeah I did get B's. Keep in mind college admissions is about much more than grades alone.

Congrats. Sorry you got wait-listed at Caltech. As a caltech engineering alumn, I hope you'll be happier at MIT for engineering.

This brings back forgotten memories. Back in the 90's, we all got letters. MIT sent out thin letters to everyone, rejected or accepted. I was really bummed to get the thin letter -- but then I did the same little dance when I found out I was in.
