i love elizabeth warren shes one of the few true anti-corruption figures in washington, however the fact that she wasn't technically confirmed by congress and is a presidential appointee means she has less power to regulate. i personally think she was confirmable but congress scared its members into protesting her so the president could bypass congress to appoint her and keep anti-crooks happy, but also not give her the full power of a confirmed head of the cpb, which keeps banksters happy

The only non-private sector person Obama has on his financial team is Christina Romer. Everyone else has extensive experience working for Wall Street. Elizabeth Warren isn't anti-captialism. She's in favor of making sure that consumers have the ability to good decisions and making sure that they don't get screwed by the banks. I think markets function optimally when consumers and investors know what they're doing and are able to retaliate when they're given a raw deal.
