And want to ask as well.All settings are ok and save the preset.After restarting C4D can't find the preset.It is not there it is not active "load preset" , just save is active.How to load it.Please HELP.

@dkriss7 To load the presest we saved click on the render settings tab, then click on "render settings" (button in the lower left of the render settings window) > Then Load Preset and then click the one you made ( make sure it's selected too!). This tutorial is for Cinema 4d r12 so I'm not sure how it would work in r13. Hope that helps.

Hi thre,nice tutorial, but I have a problem.If some one can help me.I tried yesterday but my C4D R13 when start rendering just block.When i switch off Gl.Ill then start rendering.Can I fix that or is from my PC.I'will try today C4D R12 to see will it work.

@UniqeVirus If it's slower for you, then either: 1. You have a terrible Computer, 2. You've never rendered with GI + AO :P

@SmileyGotYourBack You can change the ammount of frames you need in your animation by changing the ammount in the box next to the timeline, hope it helps! :)

OMG AMAZIN DUDE! You saved me so much time! Like I dont think you can imagine. I went from outputting an HD 1080 x 720 animation without any of these setting changes and it took me 27 hours for 130 frames. I changed to these settings, added one or two more effect markers that I needed to have, kept my 1080 x 720 and my render time was reduced to about 5 hrs. My image renderings went from 1 - 1080x720 taking 1 hr and 25-55 mins, now, only 25 ! BAM!!! Once I get that 16 core processor, giggitty!

@iPheonixMedia Well, using them gives you realistic lighting (as you probably already know). Not sure If it affects your render time, also I've tried just using AO, on it's own and it makes whatever your rendering weird :S I think AO, also give's you better shadows, rays ect

@iPheonixMedia Without GI + AO Everything looks basically crappy :/ So GI + AO adds Shadowing and precise lighting to make your images/videos look better. :D
