  • best kinks song by far..awesome song!

  • I like his songs

  • Great... Just luv fall´s cover also. Sounds great both. 8)

  • The Anglo-Saxons took and organized the world.

  • @Ruebacca

And are now in the process of losing it...

  • I wish see you in the San Javier Jazz festival someday, Ray.

  • I can't get enough of this song; it fires me up every time I hear it.....and I'm not even British! lol

  • Love that "thank you" at the end :-)

  • man this performance is great!! :-)

    Go bass player GO!! :-)

  • Genius version where is this from mate?

  • haha, he's trying his best to be Mick Jagger

  • @dundee12 Oh, he doesn't need to, he's RAY DAVIES and he's way better than Mick.

  • @basiaaaaaaa amen

  • I can't get enough of this song. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!

  • Feelin' kinky

  • hey i'm from Victoria...this should be the state anthem.keep the chorus, change some of the verse's lyrics.

  • "The Kink Kronikles" was my one and only kinks album, and now my one and only kinks cd

  • Who disliked? Seriously. How it that even possible!??!

  • this was actually from a show in 1973, but the song is from 1969

  • @kinksboss1 a song book was issued from the original album which is odd because the kinks usually only had a couple of songs in british rock songbooks with the beatles and the searchers

  • fucking like!!!

    l love dave's voice, he's awsome!!!!

  • They cut out the last verse.

  • @Staggerbaroque unfortunately they cut... I don't think they would be allowed to say: "Victoria fucked them all"...

  • @MattMoon100 Fucking hell! I always though he was saying "Victoria, Evermore." Thanks for the clarifcation.

  • Comment removed

  • @MattMoon100 Uh... It's "Victoria loved them all". Listen again.

  • THE MOST UNDERATED BAND EVER!!!

  • I'm guessing this performance was around 1973, not '69.

  • @20thesoul Yeah this isn't definintarely 70's Kinks, they didn't have the horn section in '69 and Ray hadn't dropped his guitar yet, brilliant clip nonetheless. "Old Grey Whistle Test" I'm thinking?

  • Awesome - the Kinks on top form!

  • Wow, what a badass version of this track!!!!

  • primal scream tried to knick this look and style- what a great tune and love the brass

  • Long live The Queen!

  • I heard no harmonica. I saw no harmonica. I did however see the singer....never mind.

  • the kinks ripp so hard live - they're the best band i've ever seen

  • Great stuff with the horn section! Really faithful to the record, but faster.

  • Brilliant song selection under the circumstances. Yep, this is awesome on a lot of different levels=>

  • Is it just me, or does Ray Davies bare more than a little resemblance to Neil from The Young Ones ?

  • @davidharte Oh, heavy, heavy, heavy, man!

  • @davidharte Maybe if Neil had more respect and self confidence, he could have filled in for Ray as a sort of stunt double.

  • Time Travelling Trent Reznor

  • heard this bbc6music today - and I LOVE it!

  • Ray Davies is brilliant, just brilliant! Genius man :D

  • @Marixpress2 - I was fortunate enough to see Ray D. perform on 11/5/11 in Indianapolis. Great show - a lifetime event for me.

  • @indiana1fats i was fortunate to see him the day before in pittsburgh, phenomenal show, even better than the springsteen show i saw the day before at soldiers and sailors hall in pittsburgh

  • This video was actually recorded somewhere around 1973

  • awesome :) great
