But at this point you see Cubs fans and they aren't having fun... It's gotten to the where it's kind of sad. The Sox have more fans now than before 2005 and going to the ballpark is fun. It's nice to see good baseball, fireworks, and promotions like Elvis Night, Rat Pack Night, Mullet Night, etc.

I don't get your argument because you're calling the Cubs the fat kid... yet you're also saying the fans love the fun. It seems like the fun involves the ballpark and bars instead of the Cubs.

See again... I don't get your stance... Fans go to see Wrigley not the Cubs. People are always going to have fun at bars... That's how life works. There may be nothing around Comiskey, but there doesn't need to be. The fans come to see baseball games and check out events which include fireworks. People get in fights at Wrigley just as much... if not more often than at Sox games so I don't know what the huge "risk" thing is. Disco Demolition night? That was quite some time ago my friend...

I didn't think that... but it's just like the Blackhawks. They won this year after 49 years without it. They're motto was "One Goal" and they achieved it. Now if they don't win for a few years, so what? They won, Chicago can celebrate it and be ok that the drought is over. Teams have ups and downs. I don't expect any team to win over and over and over. Where I came from? I was born in '91. I don't have an 87 year history of losing. I know of the Sox past. I know they beat the Cubs in 1906, won in 1917, had the Black Sox scandal in 1919, etc etc.

As far as the ballparks go... I've been to plenty of games and I've never been robbed, gotten into a fight, or anything. I've seen fights, but that happens everywhere. The Sox have fun events INSIDE the park, and when it's done you go home. I'd take my kids to Comiskey cause that's where I went.

I miss him too, but I think he isn't right for this team anymore. The Sox will be a lot happier with a DH who can also play the field (Scott Podsednik might be perfect for this). Thome is a pure DH, and when playing NL teams, he's virtually useless. I'll miss him but I'm hopeful for the future.

This year's team has been very streaky and inconsistent.

They can win series versus top teams like the Yankees and Dodgers, but lose series against Minnesota, Toronto, Cleveland, and Detroit.

However, the Sox have a good future ahead of them.

That's pretty much how the Sox have been for a while now. A few years back they were able to beat anybody but the Tigers (and that was when the Tigers finished last or 4th). I don't know, they're consistently inconsistent, but it makes for exciting moments!

Beckham has his errors here & there but he has shown great improvement!

I don't think the Sox will ever have a good a third baseman as Crede. We've been seeing A LOT of close diving plays for Beckham, but give him time to start making those plays easy.
