I think that'd be a cute toy for a baby or young toddler. People forget that these toys are made for babies/kids not adults, so an adult view of them tends to be absurdly overly critical. I mean a baby is not going to care about what it transforms into just the fact that they can move the parts and pick it up and hold to begin with... I mean it does not take too much to entertain babies ie. ever hear the joke about the kid liking the cardboard box more than the actual expensive designer toy?
