Most of his models are already re-released. As for Gator being involved in any release of his former pro models, the first 50 of the Gator 2's in each colorway had his name on them. Then they took it off. That might be an indication of just how much they want Gator involoved in Vision in the future.

I doubt his age will have anything at all to do with it. There are guys skating well into their 50's. Alva still skates pools and there's a website dedicated to older skaters. The ALL 80's ALL DAY contest shows what some older guys can do when they get together. It's the fact that he hasn't skated in 20+ years that'll keep him out of it. He'll be lucky to just get out and lead a semi normal life again..

I think that there is a certain part of every era in skating where the dress style becomes questionable if not straight out gay looking. I remember Mark promoting and wearing all that vision street wear crap right down to wearing two swatchs' at the same time. I remember thinking, that is some gay ass shit. The 80's was more of a punk rock edge type of look.But they were not wearing those huggies tight jeans. Plaid shirts was cool and still is.Straight leg yes, then came the baggy jean look. Skateboarders was responsible for that.Then Hip-Hop pick up on that and made it a style of its own. You either had a punk type or regular type look.
