Paul wrote for WHEN they do, and since Corinthian church claimed supernatural gifts in practice, he wrote on what should & shouldn't happen. Sound biblical teaching & sound Christians in doctrine & practice is what is needed today. If you are being taught that someone SHOULD prophecy in every meeting, that is unbiblical. I'm a Pentecostal pastor, and in the past, I've also been a Pentecostal missionary and Pentecostal Bible College instructor -- I agree, Wasilla AoG is a "different" church (definately not "mainstream Pentecostal"), but you need to recheck what you pass on to the viewers as "facts". You certainly don't speak for the Pentecostal Movement, and many of your comments concerning the Assemblies of God, what they believe, are either outright wrong, or are lies you're espousing.

Alaska has become a sanctuary for fundamenatlist religions including the rather wacko New Apostolic Reformation. These people believe that the "End of Days" is coming soon and that Alaska will be the last sanctuary of believers. This video seems to reinforce that idea. They are recruiting young people by the hundreds for Joels' Army which would be the army of God that takes over world governments.

It seems contextual understanding is missing here in the assumption that "The Masters' Commission" is a entity of its' own. It is a program within the Assemblies of God organization which trains young men and women to be ministers. They don't learn to prophesy when they become students although prophecy is an accepted gift within the church. There is some misunderstanding. When people in Pentecostal circles talk about "God invading" a location, they are not refering to any kind of Gov't takeover. Generally, they are asking for a move of God, namely, to see people set free from sin, bondages, addictions, etc, and for people's hearts to be turned toward God and to seek Him. This video contains the standard language for this sort of thing; it is a mistake to read into this some kind of desire for Gov't takeover.

profecy and speaking in tongues looks insane from the outside, i'm a christian and i know that. i've never spoke in tongues and think its overused and even abused by people who dont know there bible well. speaking in tongues is not real unless another person in the crowd is there to translate it. the falling out stuff seems to be nonsense to me, maybe hot stagelights, and locking your knees makes you pass out.

Paul wrote for WHEN they do, and since Corinthian church claimed supernatural gifts in practice, he wrote on what should & shouldn't happen. Sound biblical teaching & sound Christians in doctrine & practice is what is needed today. If you are being taught that someone SHOULD prophecy in every meeting, that is unbiblical. You certainly don't speak for the Pentecostal Movement, and many of your comments concerning the Assemblies of God, what they believe, are either outright wrong, or are lies you're espousing.

It seems contextual understanding is missing here in the assumption that "The Masters' Commission" is a entity of its' own. It is a program within the Assemblies of God organization which trains young men and women to be ministers. They don't learn to prophesy when they become students although prophecy is an accepted gift within the church. Should they be defaulted for making a young exciting with it type video, should they bepenalized, defaulted, judged, as it seems they are being judged?

It's not just just her church only, this kind of stuff is all over Alaska it self. When i first got station here I can tell you that its full of nuts, and weird stupid people. They stay together and don't interact with the out side to tell you the truth. Church in alaska is a big business and a lot of them get rich fast. Shrug.

It seems so funny to me that people always say they don't like organized religion, yet that statement is based on people (meaning the body of the church) who are just people, no mtter where you go you will find people that you don't care for. Try to read the Bible for yourself, stop basing your opinions off of other people's imperfect behavior. Read the Bible and live by God's princilples of Love and Forgivness. hmmmm. What about separation of church and state ? In my humble opinion, a person's religion , or, lack therof(athiest) , is a private matter . It seems the religious right won't support a candidate that isn't "one of their own" - sorta sounds like certain countries , run by "religious leaders" that we , rightfully, criticize(think Iran, for example). Politics should focus on ideas, not religion.

Hey, I'm Canadian and obviously don't have a say in my neighbour's politics from down south, but (as a Pastor) this critique of Sarah Palin's church is absurd. If you believe in God, you actually DO believe that the rule of God (theocracy) is actually an improvement over the rule of sinful, selfish, mortal flesh any day of the week. And let's not forget, Jesus came announcing "the Kingdom of God has come; repent, and believe the good news".

Jefferson, Franklin, Paine, etc. were basically agnostics. Madison's Bill of Rights begins with the separation of church and state clause. He didn't want America to have religious persecutions as in England.

The church that Obama belongs to and once was attended by Oprah, teaches black liberation theology. It teaches against the blessings that Israel is promised in the bible. Even though Rev. Wright was forced to retire, his replacement pastor still teaches the same anti-semetic & anti white crap. Oprah left that church after only a few weeks because even her, as liberal as she is, could see black liberation theology is racist. Any Pentacostal church in America is better than liberation theology.

There is some misunderstanding. When people in Pentecostal circles talk about "God invading" a location, they are not refering to any kind of Gov't takeover. Generally, they are asking for a move of God, namely, to see people set free from sin, bondages, addictions, etc, and for people's hearts to be turned toward God and to seek Him. This video contains the standard language for this sort of thing; it is a mistake to read into this some kind of desire for Gov't takeover.
