It's the worst processor ever made! I launched Spotify and Messenger and it starts lagging as hell. When I was gaming it kept overheating, no matter how good and clean my fan was. Intel FTW!

@MrJohanzen maybe you forgoten to apply a aftermarket thermal compound cause the stock thermal compound isn't that good.You got to look into the facts before pointing fingers

on my laptop there's this small sticker that says AMD Turion 64x2 Mobile Technology, so im guessing my computer has two cores?

can some one explain this to me?

and i recently checked my system information and according to it im running on windows vista home premium 32 bit.....is that bad? or is like 64 bit better?

@kendy4 64 bit runs alot smother..it makes for more RAM and on this possessor Great Gaming (IE Sim City 4, GTA San Andreas) Vista to this day still has some bugs but i would suggest you upgrade to Windows 7 Hpme Prem. ASAP. Ive got Ultimate and the 64 bit version is stunning...Hope this helps

Hope no one here is an Intel lover becuase this Animation shows it up. AMD is the only company that has true dual Pipeline and quad pipelining. Intel just has single for its Dual core and double for its quad core. Redering its power and speed. AMD just lets it go and loves to make the buyers lover there speed so they can be happier with it longer. STUPID INTEL!!!

why no quad core for a laptop yet? I would love to try an AMD Phenom in a laptop-I would say core 2 quad but they are not eral quad core, they are two seperate chips

The processor is Great(I tried it on a Compaq Presario Laptop-the MK-38)but I don't think the battery is a real thing,as it uses too much energy,different from the Intel Centrino,but the power is real and it's a good choice,only that the ebergy issue is not good for the processor.Anyway,I'm waiting for the next Mobile AMD Processor...The AMD Griffin.For now I stay with both the Centrino and the Turion(both are great),but let's see how will be the Griffin
