It is in no way cruel, freezing (or burning in our case)is far worse, besides if it was an animal welfare issue they would not be on the market and the fire service would not be able to use them.

I had two dogs: one couldn't stand booties at all and gnawed furiously at them when worn.
Other one loved them so much, no problems at all, hopped toddled about as happy as a lark.
She also didn't mind wearing silly hats or dopey sweaters.
Apparently, it depends entirely on the dog if clothing's comfy.
This one seems far from traumatised; slightly perturbed perhaps, but the second a distraction's there it forgets all about them.

they should never under any CIRCUMSTANCES be on for to long as it can cook the feet,
training and get used to em is perfect for 10-20min at a time longer can make the dog get upset not angry just sitt in a corner and dont move
there logic tells em its fun each time you do it 10-20min thanks to there no sense of time
no harm/bad fellings the dog will be the oppasite
ones it "GET" the tradition
Leash, Boots, out, takes about 5 times, sometimes more
