I've never liked the Mr. Muscle ads but this one an interesting ad to analyze. I think it's really interesting that the woman is "masculinized" doing a domestic chore, only to be de/reconstructed back into a more "traditional" woman. I also imagine plenty of people would look at the woman in her "muscle" state and find it a bit bizarre, OR at least feel that there is a mismatch between the muscle state and the domestic setting, i.e. a kitchen.
