Immeasurably beautiful and heart-wrenching, slowdive = love, love = slowdive, I've played this song a thousand times over the years and it never fails still to take me to a place in my heart and mind reserved for only the most portentous and amaranthine thoughts and feelings.... When there is no other reason to live, at least there is always Slowdive...

@xroyceyeahx I'm guessing because it sounded too much like "Allison". At least in the verses. Man, I miss these guys. Back in the day I bootlegged their shows, bought every import I could find and drove around with an huge Slowdive sticker on the back of my truck. Ha! Ha! I still love them and will listen to them until the day I die.

They weren't particularly loved at the time, most journos from Select, NME, etc had little time for them. Listening to them now seems so fresh because they are so underplayed and there is always a circumstance which they've seemingly conveyed the feeling of. I sincerely hope they get due acknowledgement but not overplayed because they were /are truly wonderful and I listen to them daily still.
