Gerrard and Keane were two completely different players. Gerrard was/is one of the best passers of the ball, a great captain and probably more technically gifted. Keane is a born leader who goes down as one of the great captains the world has ever seen. People like him are only born once in a blue moon. If the two players were in the same team, theres no question that Keane would be made captain. Im a big fan of both but Gerrard does not turn up in every game while Keane was consistently great.
