Sorry, "alma" does not follow the "-ma" rule, which makes nouns masculine (e.g. problema). "Alma" is still feminine, but for euphonic reasons you cannot put "la" or "una" before it, it instead takes "el" or "un." The rule is for feminine nouns that start with an accented "a" syllable, like "agua."

"Una pelicula misterioso"? Should be "misteriosa"
"y ambicioso" should be "ambiciosa," she's a girl
"una alma de fuego" should be "un alma," it follows the "-ma" rule
"Maria Ana Maria es muerto" should be "esta muerta"
