Man I caught all the legendnaries in Platinum except for the event one which I was so late on. The only way to encounter & catch the event one is to use the AR which I got. @littlemenace99 Yes, it is classified as a legendary Pokemon. As well, there are points that make it obviously a legendary. When facing Rotom, the standard legendary theme plays. Rotom cannot breed. Although certain non-legendaries can't breed because of being genderless. However no legends can breed. If a Pokemon can breed, it is not legendary. (Therefore Lucario is not a legendary, just reallly strong :D) So in short, Rotom is legendary.

@HotDogs814 Actually Rotom is not a legendary pokemon. If you have ever had any official pokemon guides you would see that is not classified as one. I would know because for some reason my parents got me a pokemon battle revolution strategy guide for easter one year when I didn't even have that game and in the legendary pokemon section it did not include rotom.

@andrewpyrus after you get te national dex, go to the end of route 221 and you will see pal park. go inside, and proffeser oak will talk to you. then go to southwest corner of eterna city, and you will see his house. go inside and talk to him. he will tell you that the 3 legendary birds have been spotted throuout sinnoh. if you have the marking map on your poketech, you can see where they are. they are roaming so bring a pokemon with mean look. oh and they are level 60. Good Luck!
