  • i heard this plane with the f-22 was a complete wash.!..having total false trail results..!!

  • Why was the A-12 Avenger II canceled? I read that the DoD spent more than $4.5 billion on R&D to McDonnell Douglas and General Dynamics (now parts of Boeing and Lockheed Martin respectively). Maybe the navy should have paid for further R&D on that airplane?

  • @ogdocvato It was a flawed design. Was born as a carrier aircraft, and ended up having a predicted landing speed that prevented safe carrier operations.

  • @ElementoVolatile Thanks for the interesting information.

  • why america wasting all it money on weapon why not on world hunger or world peace?!

  • @utaMAN12345 Your question is the one that all humanity asks, and I believe that the answer lies with the true nature of homo sapiens and the societies formed by the "naked ape". Human societies have always been dominated by individuals who are ruthless, aggressive, and without remorse. The most benificent humans have always been without much wealth or political/military power. Orson Scott Card said: "the only true power has been the power to inflict pain and death".

  • Look i'm pro western, i love all the cool shit we have ect but sometimes watching these vids i expect Cptn America to jump out and take out the "Evil" Russians or whoever while eating a hamburger and waving the American flag. " America - Fuck yeah" as the sound track.

It's a little obvious some times lol.

  • f-35 top speed is mach 1 even a mig-21(old plane) can fly faster!

  • @utaMAN12345 its classified ? you full of BS - even the SR-71 speed is still classified - go back to school

  • Respond to this video...yaeh i know the sr-71 black bird is fast cause is a spy plane not for combat it realy fast cause you take away the armour weapons and other combat equipment 2nd a humun cannot withstand force over 46,9 g about 3+ mach so if you can make plane faster than that

  • @utaMAN12345 its also the fuel - thats the key to speed - you put dynamite in the tank you get dynomite out the you know what ! like your reply dude stay strong -

  • @utaMAN12345 f-35 top speed is mach 1.8 you dumb fuck

  • @nick74178ify im sorry shit ball but even mig-21 has a top speed of mach 2.05

  • @utaMAN12345 Right now military planners are much more impressed by stealth and electronic attack than by raw speed. The main reason is that it is very difficult to deploy weapons at supersonic/hypersonic speeds. The obvious exception being directed energy weapons.

  • T-50 can shot down a F35!!

  • @utaMAN12345 wrong f-35 will shoot down t-50. t-50 has little stealth.

  • @nick74178ify hey dumbfart T-50 has full stealth like the f-22 has!

  • @utaMAN12345 hey shit for brains the russians even said it gives up some stealth for more maneuverability thats why it has a larger RCS then the f-22 and f-35.

  • @nick74178ify hey asshole stealt not all about size of the plane but its all about its shape!!!!!!!!

  • @utaMAN12345 jack ass the rcs is counting the RAM and shape and learn how to spell.

  • Definetly American propaganda.

  • @ryanlak1234 your totaly right

  • FB23 !!

  • if ur gonna go ucav jus us the unmanned b2 thing and bomb them.....the end lol

  • its not biased the current russian fighters will not be able to compete with the 22s and 35s not until the SU 50 comes out do they have a chance but even then the SU 50 is untested in combat so until it goes up against a 22 or 35 its only good on paper and paper dont mean shit

  • i love how europeans claim to know so much about a classified american stealth figter

  • Isn't it interesting how the cloud cover is so thick? That is the weather weapon the media won't discuss - a cloud cover is generated prior to major aerial operations.

  • Do Taliban suicide Toyota pick-up trucks have A.E.S.A. ?

  • Kind of biased, but I thought it's cool to see the Lightning II and the Raptor in action.

  • What a load of wank. More American bullshit propaganda.

  • Lol @ the vagina over there >

  • Just got done watching this again on the military channel. Its 2027 and lasers are being utilized to bring down planes. Planes then will be laser proof. I hope they are working on other D.E. beams like anti-positron or a phased beam weapon. Oh yeh be nice to put work into intertial dampening tech.

  • At 7:58, it is said that pilots IM each other during battle:

    "WTF OMG itz a MiG"

    "LOL shoot it"

    "There he goes LMAO"

    "ROFL"

  • @mrabuckten shes a ginger

  • They stopped producing it because they realized that the dept to china isn't gonna be paid by building ineffective and expensive aircraft like the F-22 and F-35.

  • The Documentary is just foreign propoganda.

F-22 is going to stop being produced because the US Congress thinks that 216 F-22 Raptors were to many, so they brought down the order to around 180-190 F-22's.

  • f-35 airplanes would be so helpful in libya, then we wouldnt of had to that mission when US navy destroyers shot 47 million bucks worth of cruiser missiles to take out libyan SAM sites. We could just sneak past with no threat. Can't wait 'til NATO has these babies ready to launch!!

  • f22 will remain a "political" weapon, same as b2. The working horses will remain the f15, f16, f18, b52 and maybe the f35. period.

  • ha ha ha look at the opponents of USA, Iraq, Afganistan are the opponents of USA :D :D as you know you can measure the power of something looking at it's opponents. F-22 and other high technological equipments had gain a huge success over mighty opponents like Iraq's, Afganistan's great technology. Great country USA with great power LOL!

  • F-35 is pure American genius. xD

Subsidize the project costs to allied countries.

In the end if the project does work and fighters will be produced and delivered, they will just be glorified bomb trucks, incapable of dogfighting, so in essence the F-35 buyers will just have to buy more, expensive, American JDAMs and air-to-ground missiles, in order to participate in operations.

where as US will just fly a few high tech planes and shoot a couple of missiles here and there.

    PROFIT!?!?

  • @steelpanther88 The US still pays the bulk of the price for the F-35

  • USA PROPAGANDA

  • F-35 have internal weapon bays, not wingtip missiles

  • I love stealth tech!

  • Would the "red force" not learn from the 1982 Beqaa valley? if my SAM is fire and forget why I remain tractable to HARM? shouldn't I just left? or use high performance IR seeker? Current SAM system will be highly mobile, and I will not let all my air defence force to turn on their radar, and would I not have IRST which is prevalence in the navy already. And since Russia, Japan and Europe had already developed AESA (APAR) today, isn't it likely to be face by the USAF in the future?

  • she said on the air and in the ground????????????

    dumb blonde genes

i still would pull her genes off though

  • LOL. I'm pretty sure each HARM missile costs a helluva lot more than the little Jeep with a radar dish on it that it's supposed to kill hahahahaa.

What the History Channel has wrong is that if you put missiles on the F-35s' wings, they are no longer stealthy. Anything not carried internally by stealth aircraft will greatly reflect radar waves and therefore be detected.

  • american pilots wake up in nightmare knowing this plane can only carry 2 air to air missiles

  • @edwardtang1977 All the F-35's weapons are inside.

  • 5th generation russian fighter are really 4.5s.

  • Lulz, I love all of these dirty video side links youtube puts up.

  • I don´t think fighters would fly near enemy radars in that thight formation, especially with missiles mounted on external pylons. They would surely be noticed with a good radar system.

  • @qelleri thats what I thought.

  • are you kiddin me? MiGs, Rafales, Sukhois and other non-american planes instantaneously blow up on contact with tiny missiles.. But when a UCAV is hit by a missile as big as it self, it simply dives towards the ground with a flame in it.. Bias much

  • @smthsmthcool yeah but it's better then a pilot getting killed.

  • @smthsmthcool its a freaking show use some commen sense for crying out loud

  • @jitterbug8136 No, it's a "documentary" for future aerial warfare. There is a slight difference, because these guys are trying to teach us something, not just entertain us.

  • @smthsmthcool

It's an American show. Idiot much?

  • @smthsmthcool it is made in the US.. the film is ... what you expect, it supposed to be a bit feel good to US pride

  • @smthsmthcool Haha, the poor Rafales didn't even get off any flares! Also the enemy ground defence system was not able to see that a group of planes flying 300 MpH were not the fighter group..

  • are the UCAVs really necessary? can't the F-35s just jam the system straight away?

  • J-20 while a leap forward is not a true gen 5 craft... and yes to this engineer it is fairly obvious.

  • I know that other countries will have 5th gen fighters. but ask yourself who has the better training?

  • Also already development of unmanned jet taking place and in 2020 these raptors and reapers will be pieces of crap. The six generation jet will be a unmanned stealth fighter.

  • F-35 will no longer dominate air for even next 5 years. Russia and India jointly developing Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA), expected to be operational till 2015. China is developing it's own fifth generation Aircraft J-20, expected to be ready on 2017-2018. Already prototype of both jets flying. India separately developing it's own fifth generation jet called Medium Combat Aircraft. F-22 will have it's competitor by 2015-2016.

  • All of these aircraft mentioned don't mean crap without a good pilot. Americans spare no expense when it comes to pilot training. And who know what we have at Area 51. I'm sure if America gets in a tight bind we will roll out the big dawgs out of the Area 51 hangers.

  • @N1cholas240 Obviously no clue of what he's talking about.... T-50-1 PAK-FA is NOT representative of anything right now, only used for flight tests. How can you tell about its RCS mister??? Just by looking at its engines?! The F-35 looks unstealthy too by looking in the back! Sukhoi has already said that the production Su-XX will have engines with FLAT NOZZLES. Still even now, the T-50-1 looks to have RCS close to F-35

  • I hate how people say "Thumbs up if you agree.

Thumbs up if you agree with me.

  • Really annoying drumming!

  • if i heard correctly, the sa-23 travels at mach 4, faster than the mach 3.6 sr-71 blackbird, so only way out is stealth, but the next episode proves that stealth can turn into a nightmare

  • UCAV"s are cheap :O give the amount of money to me....which you spent on them building it.... i'll be a happy camper =))

  • @N1cholas240 S-400 is only a claim by its anti-stealth bs. How can it lock onto a Stealth aircraft, without a Stealth aircraft to test that theory? All Russia does is make claims, the T-50 will better this and that, without all test even being complete.

  • @SpywareHater How did the Serbs manage to kill an ''invisible'' F-117?? They had no stealth mockup to test that theory either but they did it! Face it, Russkies know what they are talking about, they produced stealthy planes since the 1990's (MiG 1.44, Su-47, MiG Skat, Pak-Fa T-50). Heck, all this Stealth concept comes from Russia anyways (P. Ufimtsev theories)

  • @lape2002 The F-117 started development in the 70's, it predates anything the Russians built by 20 years. Furthermore, while Petr Ufimtsev did create the solid mathematical theory for stealth, the idea started in America with the YB-49. It was proven to very difficult to pick up on radar when approaching an airfield. If the original flying hadn't been scuttled by politics, we may well have had a stealth aircraft in the 60's

  • @lape2002 Wow forgot to reply to this crap. Well anyway, all the above planes are not fully developed so what are you talking about?

  • The way they talk about that drone almost reminds me of Operation: Get behind the darkies. Just think about the Terminator series: This is how the robots came to rise against us. We exploited their first generation drone predecessors lol.

  • But Uav;s do have mothers..........MOTHERBOARDS! SHWING!

  • The funny thing is The F-35 is newer but it doesnt have super cruise or thrust vectoring and they say its an air supiriority fighter. I would like to see it face a sukhoi su-47 Berkut! Who thinks the f-35 will win or the Sukhoi plz respond

  • @JetFlyyer The Berkut was cancelled. Sukhoi needed to divert resources to the PAK-FA program.

No one here knows "who would win" between any of these planes. G5 aircraft are just entering service. N. Korean & Soviet pilots mocked the F-86 Sabre as it entered service, as it was rushed, had a poorly-tested & more complex turbojet, and lacked the firepower of the MiG-15. That ended up being less of a fight and more of an extermination of MiG's. But everyone's an expert I'm sure.

  • @JetFlyyer no one thats why i hope that they are gowing to put tvc on a f 35

  • Pilots are to valuable to loose better throw away a remote control plane makes sense. My country is buying 100 of these i hope we have enough pilots able to fly these things as we don,t have enough pilots for the helos and planes we have

  • @N1cholas240 you said in one of your comment, "You have know idea what your talking about..." so i pointing out that "know"should be replaced with "no".. : D

  • @N1cholas240 dude it's **"NO"**

  • Caitlin is hot. F-35 rocks!!! XD

  • The UK and the US together are and always will be unstoppable.

  • it seems a little uggghh, that we r giving our awesome craft all over the world. let them develop their own aircraft. get some variety in the air, instead of several rival countries fielding the same aircraft. not very efficient 4 either sides

  • @amillionslain25 without the brits in ww2 the US would've been YEARS behind the rest of the powers in the world when it comes to jets.

  • @kornek21 Or not. Do you seriously think Britain or France had enough money to throw at aviation industry like the US did?

  • @KJlost first they just took the german engineers to the US and then used what they already developed ^^ sure they improved it but maybe you get what i mean...

  • @IIIJG52 improved what?

  • @SpywareHater they improved the engines which german engineers already developed and then stated that were theirs...

  • @IIIJG52 still only a claim, test are required regardless but change in engines can make improvements, but a test will still be helpful.

  • @kornek21 true, and without the US, the Brits would be flying a German flag in WW2 without supplies from the US, but that's just how allies work, simply helping out the other in some way shape or form if they can.

  • @REYNALD0SALINAS .........jealous?.....

  • booyah

  • Expendable UCAVs? I guess "Reaper down, we just lost another million dollars" is better than "We got a Lightning down, pilot down in enemy territory, someone call USSOCOM."

  • @iamidiotic

Million dollars? 10 million is the fly away cost of Reaper.

  • @MokomaSusi Thats still far better than the 191.9 Million unit cost fly away for 2010, + the dreaded phone call home.

  • @MokomaSusi The video has it all wrong with the drones.....for diversionary purposes, they would use adm-160 MALD's which only cost $30,000 each.

It said that the "cobra" was a real combat maneuevr in the last video of the series...it has its moments of bullshit.

  • @FXWorldBeater Pugachev's Cobra is a real maneuver. Wikipedia it

  • @FXWorldBeater i used that maneuver in hawx 2 with the f-22 and yeah it is a real maneuver.

  • @iamidiotic also, losing a pilot is losing the money spent on his recruitment and training. Which isn't cheap.

  • @iamidiotic another million try like 30m at least plus lol

  • @iamidiotic yep. the downed pilot would cause more trouble by being a hostage. and reaper is cheaper. i wish in the future's future only one reaper can creat an image of many and only one down.

  • @iamidiotic he didn't say they were expendable

  • @iamidiotic A million dollars? What wholesale place are you buying YOUR Reapers from! ;D

  • @iamidiotic well, they say that the trained fighter pilot is more expensive than the aircraft so in that sense the drones and UCAV make a lot of sense really.

Downed fighter pilot either dies to explosion or escapes with parachute, gets trapped in the enemy land and waits evacuation from air force pararescue.

Drone operator can just take a take cold fizzy drink from the fridge and log on to a new plane. UCAV has faster respawn :D

  • Watching this makes me so proud to be an American. Let freedom ring!!

  • @crazyfool8839 fuck that capitalist shit.

  • At least currently with UCAV's we have a human in the loop, they in the future will become increasingly autonomous and potentially the human might be removed from the loop. This is obviously very dangerous as you could have a terminator scenario arise out of this.

  • @CVKent317 i agree im not a really big fan of robots being too autonomous humans should always be there.

  • You're so childish nice reiteration of my argument, what are you 12 years old?

The Direct quote I sent you From President Truman himself, on the Korean strategy says it all...

A child on Youtube holds no credability when it comes to world politics and warfare. Esp one who doesnt even have enough pride to name his pathetic country.

  • @Greendude33 absolutely, a kid like you who thinks America is God and always has been has no credibility when it comes to anything. I already explained everything i need to explain and Truman's quote means fuck all. doesnt repudiate my point at all. a kid like you who doesnt have the intellegence to realise that clearly needs to go back to school and relearn how to read.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon I shot down every arguement you had, that quote from a historical icon, carries more weight than you'll ever amount to. You have no arguement now so you turn to petty insults and reiteration on what I said.

You dont even have the pride to say where you're from, that says alot about your country, most likely your from a country that has fallen to America in combat.

You're pathetic you have no comprehension of politics and warfare.

  • I have shot down every argument YOU have presented to me. You have no argument now you come up with something that has nothing to do with anything. You really are retarted if you cant work out where i'm from. That historical quote and your So-called argument of Total or Limited war or whatever has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I already told you where i'm from. if you dnt have the intellegence to realise it then you really should go back to school.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon HAHA that's hilarious What have you shot down?

I've prooven everything you've said wrong and even sent you a direct quote on the policy set in place in Korea by President Truman. All you have done is deny and rationalize, using no factual support just childish ad hominem responses.

It's clear you have a bias against America like most foreigners, you also display a lack of knowlede in history, poilitics and military tactics.

  • I shot down everything you threw against me. now you shoot me some quote that has nothing to do with anything. I dont need so-called quotes from anyone to say your wrong. Truman's document proves fuck all. it doesnt prove he had the ability to inflict any military defeat against communist forces in the same way George HW Bush and Schwarzkopf defeated Saddam Hussein in 1991.

I'm not anti American at all. I'm stating facts as i see it.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon There's a major difference between, Total and Limited Warfare. Anyone with any sliver of martial knowledge knows this, the last total war America was involved in was WW2.

In a limited warfare, you have to take in account Collateral damage, expenses, PR etc... During the Cold War if the US slaughtered millions of Chinese, the USSR would have used it against the US politcally.

  • @Greendude33 the difference between Total or Limited war or whatever has nothing to do with anything. The point is, America did not and could not have won the Korean War regardless of Total or Limited.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon The US has had the world dominant AF and Navy since 1945, , the Soviets spent all their money on tanks and ground forces, where as the US allocated the majority of its funds to its AF.

It's a total joke when someone thinks they can hang with the USAF, who's budget alone is more than Russia and China's entire miltary budgets combined.

Air Superiority wins Modern Wars, your country and the rest of the world has no Answer to America's 5th gen Stealth AF.

  • I'm not denying the F-22 kicks ass, I'm not denying the USAF is the best in the world and i'm not denying America is the world's sole superpower and really to be honest i'm incredibly impressed with American ingenuity and martial prowess and the rest of the world has a lot to learn from America. All I'm saying is, dont claim achievements that are not yours and dont underestimate the rest of the world. The US is strong today but a blazze attitude you seem to have wont keep you strong.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon In a limited war scenario, politics dictate how the war is waged. General MacArthur was set to cut Chinese supply lines, take out Chiniese communications, leadership and production.

However Truman denied MacArthur the use of Full force, b/c the more chinese they killed, and with an American push into Communist China would have meant a possible Soviet push into west Europe.

Truman saved you from being under Soviet tank tracks.

  • dude, Politics dictate how ALL wars are waged. MacArthur is described as the America's greatest soldier but worst politician. I dont deny that the US didn't use full force. Nor do I deny the US were the biggest boys on the block during that war and since. I'm just saying, given the restraints MacArthur and later Ridgeway had at the time, they did the best they could under the circumstances.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon Also in theaters like Afghanistan and Iraq the US military isnt authorized to use full force, America is not fighting a standing army we're fighting hit and run cowards who suicide bomb civilians.

I/e America cant engage Mosques and roll into cities w/o clearance, they cant chase militants across borders etc...

In a Total War scenario the US military is authorized to use full force and wage war on the enemy in any location.

  • Total war: n. a war of unlimited scope in which a belligerent engages in a mobilization of all available resources at their disposal, whether human, industrial, agricultural, military, natural, technological, or otherwise, in order to entirely destroy or render beyond use their rival's capacity to continue resistance.

  • Someone tell this idiot the Definition of Limited War.

  • @Greendude33 someone tell this idiot the definition of war.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon Limited Warfare n.

A war whose objective is of smaller scope than total defeat of the enemy.

  • @Greendude33 If Truman was gonna do as you said, go for a limited war wwhen he had the means to win hands down and outright, then he would've done what George HW Bush done 40 years later in Desert Storm, another LIMITED WAR: wait for his troops to win a decisive victory before ordering ceasefire. The fact he didn't means he knew wasnt able to.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon Since Truman was a major world leader with credentials, and since you're nothing more than an anonymous youtube troll, Im going to say his decision was far better than yours. His logic holds far more credability than yours ever could.

  • absoutely i agree with you entirely. Truman's and Bush Sr's logic withc is the same as my logic is far more credible than your's ever could.

  • The Korean war was nothing, the US was focused on how the Soviets would react, evertything that happened from 1945 to 1991 politacally was a chess match between the USA and USSR. The US had no desire to crush china you ignorant douche, they wanted to maintain focus on the USSR.

And there's a huge difference between Total and Limited Warfare.

So until you can define limited warfare, ill be able to know you know nothing.

  • If you look carefully at the F-35s you will see that they carry missiles at their wings.F-35 or F-22 with an external payload IS NOT STEALTH !!!!

  • @terror206 unless they carry stealthy ordinance

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon The missiles in the video are not so stealthy.I don't know about if there are stealthy weapons.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon The most modern weapons such as AIM-9X , AIM-120D are not stealth.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon It doesn't matter if the weapon is stealth. The combination aircraft-weapon must be stealth and this is very complicated to achieve.

  • @MegaWoodenSpoon Sorry for the 3 messages but commenting in youtube sometimes is a problem

  • this is wayy of man.. haha 2019 f 35... we basically have it now lol and its 2010

  • "but the enemy missle misses the the f-35 because it knows that this jet is super-awsome" :)

  • it says that nothing can come close to the f 35 but thats not true a typhoon with a good pilot could take it if not it can bug out with out being followed and it has a better turn and

angle of attack at all altudes

  • Comment removed

  • numbers cant win when the difference in means, technology, training, structure, logistics, is huge. Talking though about two opposing forces of similar level on the above factors, then numbers are decisive factor.

  • i am very curious about the reality of F-35 effectiveness when it gets deployed ... very controversial characteristics .... kind of reminds me of the failed picture of air warfare analysts had when Phantoms were sent to Vietnam

  • when the f 35 has missiles outside the airplane, it is not stealth anymore, the 3d animation is not true

  • @s013081 totally true, but i think the Americans (or other Nations) MAYBE and just MAYBE develop an stealth bomb or missile, that would be cool

  • washington is thinking of using MQ-9s to patrol the usa-mexico border.

  • @101clockman

    Hope they will be armed.

  • f35 looks like a mini f 22

  • Its obvious the producers of this film overlooked some basic facts about the F35 and the Sa23 SAM system

F35 only has a head on stealth capability and only in the X band range, modern IADS search radars operate in the VLF frequency range, the F35 has no stealth capability in this band and can be tracked on radar.

Modern SAMs s300 and S400 missiles all have terminal homing capability and home on jam, any aircraft trying to jam these missiles is a dead duck.

  • Only aircraft survivable in a modern IADS environment is the B2 Bomber and the F22 raptor. F35 is target practice, limited stealth capability, to slow and poor manuervability means it won't survive.

  • "To slow"

All of the comparisons of top speed have been to clean aircraft an F-15 (top speed: Mach 2.56) is barely able to keep above Mach 1 with a full combat loading

    "poor maneuverability"

The F-35 is able to pull harder than the F-16 BLK 50 and F/A-18. Unlike other 4th Gen aircraft, the F-35 will always be a clean aircraft, which will bring much help in a dogfight.

    "Limited stealth capability"

Only in the rear range, which most stealth aircraft do have that problem.

  • You realize the F-35 is just as stealthy as the F-22 in frontal, side, top and bottom sides.

  • US airforce commerical

  • I hope usa goes to war againts iran so they can test their aircraft

  • US F22s and what we can only assume are UK F35s vs Migs. Cold War 2 anyone?

  • F-22 has already had a rival, just had a first flight last month. It's called the Sukhoi T-50 PAKFA, 5th gen stealth plane. Innovated from the F-22 design and armaments.

  • @lfstweak420 man it a x plane at this time like su-47 ok.

  • @1927henritta Why the hell do Russia have a Mock F-22 (T-50) if the Su-47 was suppose to be the 5th Generation Fighter?

  • man like yf-22 back in 1991 t-50 is a x plane ok its tech not the same as f-22 raptor. it will take time. for it to be like f-22 to day ok.
