  • @1imawesomeandiknowit, yu mad bro?

  • NOT TWO INCH FANGS U MOTHER FUCKER GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT AND THAT FUCKING KID NEEDS TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

  • Holy crap, every single thing said about this snake is wrong! MANY snakes perform mating rituals! The Bushmaster is not rare, it just tends to avoid human populated areas! The most venomous snake in the world is a sea snake, the most venomous land snake is the Inland Taipan.

  • boring

  • Watching a snake swallow a dead rat doesn't deserve comments like "horrific" and Shock and Awe". Pretty boring too. Watch a pride of Lions take down a Cape Buffalo or an Elephant. Now that deserves the above comments.

  • @tbcass agreed

  • If so then why title your video the way you did.

  • *cough*not the most venomous*cough*

  • Bushmasters are deadly but not the most poisonous, that title belongs to the taipan

  • @jas77barrett Actually the most venomous snake is the belchers sea snake. But due to the rarity of bites and contact with humans we consider the Inland Taipan to be the deadliest. Also no such thing as a poisonous snake it venomous. You can drink snake venom. Wouldn't recomend it though.

  • Focus the lens when you film, please.

  • Mama: maybe its' a vegetarian? wtf?

  • People who "like" snakes are fucked in the head. Seriously demented. Just plain weird.

  • @holyfuckareyoustupid fuck off

  • god i would beat the shit out of your child

  • I can see how somone could mistake a bushmaster for a boa, similer coloring

  • Who cares who's the most venomous?! Your fucked either way if you don't have the right anti-venom!

  • Shut that fucken kid up.

  • The bush master is not the most venomous snake. it is the Inland taipan.

  • the that keeps talking is annoying

  • i hear my own kind.. Filipinos...

  • @MmaNcovers How in the world did you make that sound as if you were in the wilds tracking dinosaurs?

    "I hear my own kind...FIlipinos..."

Then one charges you from the bushes while you smile and say "Clever girl."

    I'm weird.

  • Great looking snake.

  • that kid should shut the fuck up

  • As long as the rats are dead first.

  • That's a viper. The most venomous snakes in the world are elapids.

  • Gerrard63 u need 2 do more research on that , the black mamba can kill an adult in less that 20 mins and with the bush master it's the similar. The problem is that a lot of documentary was'nt done on the bush master so the comparison of which is deadlier would be known, but what I do know 4 sure is that the black mamba strikes faster n is much more aggressive.

  • The Bushmaster IS deadlier that thee Fer De Lance.

The latter is much, much more common, while the Bushmaster is rarely seen. Therefore there are not many recorded bites. This goes for the entire BM/ FDL range. I live in Trinidad, Bushmaster and Fer De Lance country, and I've never seen the Bushmaster in the wild (just as well). There are also no reported bites here from them.

  • @partylap That would make the Fer De Lance the deadlier snake. In America we only have one elapid; the coral snake. Coral snake venom is extremely potent--more so than our pit vipers--and there is no antivenin for it. Yet the deadliest American snake is the western diamondback rattlesnake. This is because human-coral snake encounters are extremely rare, while encounters with the aggressive western diamondback are much more common.

  • I wish people would stop posting good videos when they have no clue how to use the focus feature of their camera. So bloody annoying!

  • That is a cage of death!

  • @brianbuck, no offense but I don't know what you're talking about. I have nothng against snake owners who are responsible. You think mistreating prey items before feeding is humane? Like that sorry son of a bitch "snakes and rabbits for fertilizers" basturd, he held a rabbit by the nape of the neck and read a poem before tossing the rabbit in a small box with his fcuking snake. Yeah, thats humane. I hope that basturd dies in agony.

  • You miserable mother-fcuker, I prayed and wish that your family crams into a minivan to go to the pet shop for feeder prey and on the way, you all basturds get smashed by a big rig that is carrying gasoline and you all basturds get pinned and then the rig explodes and you basturds burn to death and the feeder rats and rabbits get out and run away but piss in your face first. Gooooo die snake loving freak-fcuk bitch basturd.

  • @JayGolas Seriously, man, what's with all the hate for snake owners?

  • did that rat have no hair on it? did they shave it? LOL...gb

  • Mama "he ate the rat"...lol

  • MAMA MAMA LOOK AT THAT SHIT ITS EAT THAT RAT MAMA WHAT THE FUCK MAMA WHY YOU BRING ME TO THIS SHIT MAMA i dont love oyu no more

  • O1 Of The Snakes Waz Fake Moron \/

    vvvvv

  • is that a little risky to feed 2 snakes in the same cage, wont they fight over the food?

I only say that becouse I seen others remove other snakes to keep them from fighting.

  • Stupid ass mom.

  • I don't know about you people but the fact that the little kid's fascinated by the feeding is kinda cute

  • Its not the most venomous snake, not even close!

  • that's actually a pretty snake...

  • That sure is horrific! Yup! Yup! (Yawn!) You should watch me devour an apple some time.

  • ewwwwwww.that was horrific,distgusting,and just plain gross.

  • Bushmasters are not the most venomous snakes.

  • We have the most venomous snakes in the world here in Aus.....but even after a bite from a Brown snake or tiger snake both much mre venomous than a bushmaster....you still have quite a few hours before you die

  • mama mama mama OMG SHUT UP

  • mmmmmm snake

  • wtffff steraddy the camerraaa

  • Viper's thinking "GTFO here and let me work Beetch!"

  • THAT KID !

  • i hate kids...

  • the black-headed bushmaster is so cute as he sizes up his prey and is like "yeah, i can eat this!" and the other one is just chillin like eating while "standing up" :o)

  • @LeeClaxton I'm so glad you survived, that's really amazing!

  • i wish youd focus the damn camera stupid bitch

  • I hope you know how lucky you are

  • Sounds like you found a mamba that figured it best not to waste it's venom on you, lucky call! Glad you survived :D

  • probably a dry bite - bite without venom. snakes are known to do it to save venom and fangs when defending itself against something threatening that it can't eat.

  • you were probably hit with a dry bite - bitten but no venom injected. snakes are known to do so when threatened so as to save venom and fangs

  • Yeh....Right!

  • i hate snakes with a passion deadasss

  • If it really is "truly mezmerizing" to watch this creature at work, then why don't you share that experience with us? Find yourself a quiet time and give the specimen a still-living prey animal.

  • There's several reasons why snakes are fed frozen thawed. 1)Less risk of injury to the animal. Rodents have very strong jaws and extrememly sharp teeth that can cause serious damage to a snake. 2) It's much cheaper to buy frozen thawed rodents then it is to buy live. Not to mention you don't have the risk of rodents getting out and reproducing in the area. 3) It greatly lowers the risk of a parasitic infestation. I feed my snake frozen thawed, and they don't seem to care either way.

  • They are the largest Vipers, and come in different color patterns and "races"...depending on location.

  • The Bushmaster isnt that toxic compared to some other snakes but the reason it is so dangerous is the amount of venom it can dump into you in a single bite.

What it lacks in quality it makes up for in Quantity.

As for the Black Mamba - its the fastest snake in the world and the longest after the KIng Cobra.

Its venom is fast acting but it wont kill in 30 seconds

If given the choice, I'd rather die by a Mamba bite than a Bushmaster bite.

Mambas nuerotoxins will be quicker and less painful

  • a king brown will dump a whole lot too, and if given the chance (usually) will keep on biting

  • Comment removed

  • yall got it all twisted ok bushamster other known as the 8 step snake can kill a full grown human in 8 seconds a black mamba other known as the 30 step snake kills a full grown human in 30 seconds bushmaster is the deadliest snake in the world

  • You need to do a little more research. There is no snake alive that can kill a human in eight seconds - most venoms will take a matter of hours to take effect, and bushmaster venom is considerably less toxic than that of many other snakes.

In addition, you've got it twisted - black mambas are a hell of a lot more toxic than bushmasters (going by LD50). Regardless, it still takes them several hours to kill with their venom.

The most venomous snake in the world is the Inland Taipan.

  • I was gonna say, may be he whould check out some of our lovely friends in Australia for "most venemous" snakes

  • A black mamba can kill a man in less than an hour, depending on the dosage

    and other factors,,,

don't under~estamate a Bushmasters venom, yes compared to top Australian snakes, I would agree, but like a Eastern Diamondback, they dump can dump a load, making them extremely dangerous

  • To behonest I'd rather get done by a Black Mamba than a Bushmaster.

At least the Mamba would be quicker and less painless.

Once a doctor uses anti-venin to reverse the Mambas bite you are generally ok but with a hemotoxic viper you have internal bleeding and tissue damage (secondary infection too) to worry about.

    Thanks

  • absolutely!

Vipers have nasty bites; Mambas, Kraits,

some cobras are mostly neurotoxic with less or no tissue distruction.

  • @Pentagram6 - ... Taipan, from Australia. 2nd most deadly is the common brown snake, and we've got them everywhere. That's why they call it common! Then there's a seasnake I think, which is in Australia too, and then maybe the King cobra, or is it the Krait? And so on .....

  • @ausglocker the deadliest snakes in the world are sea snakes, if you are going by venom toxicity, the reason they are not considered the deadliest is because there has not been a recorded attack.

  • @tac94540 i saw on a couple of programmes that they were some of the most toxic but the inland taipan (or fierce snake) is more toxic? have I got that wrong?

  • @MulletMan3108 science is constantly changing its facts so who knows. i know that they say the banded sea snake has the most toxic venom of any snake on the planet, but the inland taipan has the most toxic venom of any land snake.

  • @Pentagram6 i think the belchers sea snake is

  • @Pentagram6 the most venomous snake isnt the taipan, its the seasnake.

  • @Ugluk75 Actually the Black Headed Bushmaster and the Black mamba have a higher mortality rate then the Inland Taipan.

  • @bigJ09z The point was which was the most venomous and thats the seasnake. The taipan are the most venomous landliving snake.

  • @Ugluk75 Based on the LD50 right?? Ok I can't really take that to seriously :P Naja philippinensis has been known to kill people in just 30 seconds to 30 minutes I haven't heard about the Taipans time but I know its longer then that. Sometimes I think most venomous should be based on how quickly it kill's people instead of mice I mean the Saw scaled viper of Africa kills or hurts more people then most snakes there besides maybe the pissy Puff Adder :P Which is Cytotoxic :P

  • @bigJ09z Theres no evidence that any snake killing a healthy grown man in 30 sek. But cobras and bushmastern and even ferde lans in general kills more humans than the taipan cause the are more likely to cross paths with human. And also the taipan are pretty calm snakes and most likely just get out of your way when some snakes, black mamba for example, are more agressive.

  • @Ugluk75 Yeah taipans are also pretty reclusive I think Naja philippinensis venom is a fast fast acting postsynaptic neurotoxin. Its the most toxic of the Naja genus just behind Naja Nivea

  • @bigJ09z Yes thats true. Another snake thats very deadly are the eastern brown, very agressive and strike multiple times. Saesnakes are also very calm and also are rearfanged with relatively small fangs compared with landliving species so bites from them are rare. But they are the most venomous of all snakes.

  • @Ugluk75

Every snake seeks to flee if possible.Black mamba is a nervous snake which escape quickly at first but will bite repeatedly if provocation is continued.Several snakes are known to aggressively defend themselves:king cobra, black mamba, coastal taipan, eastern brown,saw-scaled viper,Russell's viper, lancehead, several Najas, puff adder, rattlesnake, etc but yes,the temperament varies among different individuals and age. They all seek to flee if possible and bite only when provoked.

  • @bigJ09z

The king cobra and black mamba cause the highest mortality rate in humans bitten by snakes presently. These two species are also known to cause rapid death which the fastest record is within 15 min, though the average death time is about 1 hour.

    P.cobra doesn't cause a death time of 30 second.

Sea snake is the most toxic based on LD50.

Coastal taipan is generally regarded as more dangerous than the Inland due to various factors.Toxicity is not the mere factor determining danger.

  • @fearingpredators Oddly enough it is the highly venomous Sawscale viper that kill's the most people :P Which is weird as its such a small snake :P Yet it packs a punch :P Puff Adder's kill a lot of people as well :( I seldom hear of Elapidea snakes that kill many people besides maybe a few Naja species :P Naja Haja,Naja Nivea among them both have powerful neurotoxic venom :P Naja Nivea has the potent venom of any cobra in Africa :P

  • your mom is the deadest whore on the street one fuck by her you died from aids in 30 secs

  • @sweetguyxoxo19 The 8 step snake is the White-lipped viper of Vietnam and Cambodia and the legend of it's potency was created by terrified american troops. The black mamba could only kill in 30 seconds if it injected venom directly into your jugular vien, which is very unlikely considering how short even a massive mamba's fangs are, and the Bushmaster isn't even the deadliest snake in it's range. That title goes to the Fer de Lance.

  • i thought the black mamba was the most venomous

  • Second biggest venemous snake worldwide (after King Cobra ).

    Not the most venemous.

In this way it´s more in the middle field of ranking .

  • Third or fourth longest, after the King cobra and black mamba, competing with the taipan for the third spot. It's certainly the longest in the western hemisphere, but not as heavy as the eastern diamondback rattlesnake. (The Gaboon viper probably beats the EDB on pure bulk and muscle though)

  • I´m only a hobby zoologist in theory. I don´t have such animals at home or something.

In all reptil -literature the Bushmaster is the second longest venemous snake worldwide and longest of the New World at all. I don´t want to speak here against your standpoint because I find much truth in it. Let´s the King Cobra by/at side: It´s THE superlative in all sizes of venemous snakes.

The Gaboon is unbeatable in weight and muscle power . Yep, I agree !

    Part 2 follows

  • Part 2

Ja, the Eastern Diamond is also heavier than the "Buschmeister". I agree too. Not such long !

But Taipan (Inland ?) is far away from the length possibility of the bushmaster.

    Black Mamba can reach it,

    perhaps ?

    But not evident till today.

I became curious if there are new acknowledges...

    Pardon for my bad English.

  • Nnnope it's the second longest fangs.

  • I have only school english. But it´s surprising how many mistakes can be in such a small sentence.

And the meaning will not reach me because it´s not to realize of which snake you are talking.

Anyway, the longest venemous fangs has the Gaboon Viper. They can become 5 cm long.

  • are you high?

  • Bushmaster: A snake to be Respected.

Largest pit viper? The "holy Grail" snake

    in Central/South America, I believe.

    Any thoughts?

  • Maybe you're right. But I've heard from reputable keepers is that Bothrops is the nastiest viper out there. One favorite tactic is to flee, let you get close, then turn on a dime and try to tag you.

  • Well, if you pick the "nastiest", in venom terms, VIPER in the world, I would go with the Gaboon or the Russell's Viper

their venoms are horrific. Plus, the Gaboon has the longest fangs, perhaps followed by the Bushmaster.

  • What I meant was a viper with an absolute hellbent determination to plant fangs in you. I agree with your choices, though a puff adder bite would be a horror on par with the snakes you listed.

  • Right, someone who has dealt with them

would know. I don't want that direct knowledge :)

  • Puff Adder packs a wallop too

  • They are absolutely gorgeous, my favourite snakes:) How many species of bushmasters they have? There I can see L.melanocephala and L.stenophrys. Do you have more videos of these snakes?

  • Thanks for stopping by!

What you see here is what happnes after the feeding...the reddish snake came out later...the grayish one ate first (he literally jumped out of the exhibit grabbing the rat). These guys are professionals they know what they're doing.

I do recall that during one of the feedings (they did 6 that day) they didn't go ahead with it because the snakes where too close together.

They weren't featured for nothing on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel.

  • Why are they feeding snakes together? This is not good practice.
