"Up, up and away...T--W--A" was the best and should have been here. Does anyone know where to find a copy of it, or at least the audio version of it? As for crediting the ad agencies, the "Up, up and away" campaign was created by Foote, Cone and Belding.
This is really nice. I remember seeing this on one of trip's to Paris years back. Many good memories. I liked the Convair 990 ( The Smoker - The Rocket) the best of all.
You said ok to copy this video in your description box. Nice video - shitty quality. Obviously you lifted it from a ton of other lifted from sources or you don't know shit about quality compression!
I was hired on 752006 at Breech Academy as a flight attendant with TWA. I acheived my Flight Service Manager in 1980 and was based at JFK until 2001.
TWA was the best airline to fly for , and made many friends! T-5 was our home away from home. Thank you for the wonderful memories!! We at TWA thank you for flying with us today!
To kenramonet, 100% right! Up..Up..& Away was one of the best! Late 1960's early 1970's The 5th Dimension did the jingle! I was based in JFK, left during the Carpetbagger Carl Icahn strike of 86/87, we thought C.E.Meyer was a washout, with Icahn we dealt with a ruthless profiteer I hope he's in hell!
jet blue has JFK but they kept all of the old TWA signs and they plan to keep the TWA feeling since it was TWA'S in the first place......... ALTHOUGH i think airliners are all cut-throat. I THINK JET BLUE IS DECENT BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO KEEP THEM ALIVE IN SPIRIT
@twawasthebest I sure miss TWA and Pan Am! Their style and colors were wonderful! However, TWA and Pan Am were a bit too pricey tho.' I think the lower priced carriers have succeeded based solely on prices!

Dear All,
I have some question about psychology:
(1) Why do we love flying?
(2) What do we like about the golden age of flying in the 1960's?
(3) What do we enjoy today's flying comparing with that in the 1960's?
(4) Why do ailrine commercial song make us feel happy and relax?
THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

the advertising agencies responsible should, at least, be credited.
where's: "Up. Up. and Away. TWA"?
where's "Leading the Way. TWA"?
this compilation is seriously lacking the best TWA advertising, sorry.

for all of us who were part of the TWA family, here's to us and all we shared.
Our beloved company may be gone
but our memories still burn bright.
I sure wish we could do it all again
and change the ending.
