I thought there was a 2s limit on the 7700kv mamba system? I thought you can only use 3s uo to the 4600 and 5700kv and then 2s on the 6900 and 7700kv. I think this is because the 3s exceeds the capabilities of the magnets in the motors when they are spinning. I heard the motors will basically axplode!
wow! i crashed mine in2 th wheel of a van. i waz goin so fast tht th van actually rocked a lil bit! th mt2 wasnt damaged at all but th van's weel trim was a bit broke lol
a 7700kv motor on a 3S Lipo pack will turn over 85k RPM which can definitely break the magnets off of the rotor. Even if you keep the motor under 200 degrees Fahrenheit the RPMs are far too high for the rotor to withstand and will likely not last long. This is why the 7700 is rated for a 2S lipo pack irrelevant of operating temperature.
7700 it's almost OK with 11.1v 3s Li-Po, but you have to give rest after 3/5 minutes run time, I saw some guys run Mamba Max 7700 on 14.8v 4c Li-Po, that probably not save for the motor and ESC, but they run it,
I Love this car!

Bad luck Gpeter. Get that rocket fixed asap so we can see what it's good for lol btw, what type of car is it may i ask?
MrAzzatron 1 year ago
good thing it crashed, so you didnt run it long enough to kill the motor. 7700kv isnt meant to run on 3s.

yes u r right, but companies usualy rate their products to avoid failure and lots of warranties. so it can be done it just voids warranty.

Its realy good to change that cheep radio and get with EXPONENTIAL functions on steering and throtle. As more speed as more complicated steering
Reburned32 2 years ago
yes it is

peter add some expo on the steering to calm it down a bit. At that speed the steering is so sensitive.

3 lipo's on a 7700?
I thought the magnets shatter?
proob4 4 years ago
No is not, but you can't run for too long, motor is too hot, after 5 minutes run time it's about 175+,
