Even in Italy, that is not a socialist state, we have universal healtcare. For us it's normal, and everyone is happy to have it, because it helps peopole who has not enough money for pay private assistance.

Anyway, I'm liberal and I've to say that I don't like the radicalist-socialist-anarchyst images in this video, like Che Guevara: I think that mr. Obama is a progressist-liberal, not a socialist.

It doesn't prove America Isn't racist.. If someone votes for a person for the sole reason that he is black.. It Is equally as racist as not voting for him because he's black... Read stats on racial voting lines compared to previous elections and you will find that racism is still very real in America... And has just now shown a glimpse that racism is equally alive on the other side of the color fence..

Universal Healthcare isn't just in Canada it's everywhere, including most developing countries. It started in Germany in the 19th century. America still hasn't caught up. And if it's terrible...well, everyone who has it likes it. And most people who don't want it (i.e. a majority of the american people; about 80% if i recall correctly)

@theirresistableE well a lot of things change in two years, and Europe is going broke, even England the frontier of Universal Health care is trying to wind it down. Traditionally Europe has followed America (ie democratic revolutions and civil liberties) so why would America the great emancipator a political pioneer follow a failed trail? Any way that is an argument for later. But I must ask what dignity is a life where every thing is given, is that really social progression?

He also wants an indefinite troop presence in Iraq, albeit a limited one, and will increase troops in Afghanistan and supports sending yet more of them illegally over the border into Pakistan. I'm too happy to let these things bring me down, but they are realities and we should realize it. Until there is justice for EVERYONE, on EVERY issue, justice is not fully achieved. That was my point.
