wow if this man gets anymore soulful and intense in his playing he will surely explode. A master of what great blues playing is all about..truly awe inspiring and ravishing on the ear. Deserves great recognition. Oh and he was fabulous with Roger waters too.
ALBERT MOTHER FUCKING KING BABY!!!!!!!! AND SRV!!!!!!...i wish it was actually stevie and king playing this but its good to see there legacies live on. but i mean at least albert had a long good career and Stevie died so early which is so sad!
Amazing.... Speechless.... doyle is the best guitar player of this generation... he really plays the music... not scales and exercises.... he is the music... the guitar completes his arm.... it's part of him.... Sad he is so unrated....
blueswilly7, I know exactly what you're saying. And I'd hate to be you right now. Why make things so difficult for yourself... just chill and listen to the tunes man...
just getting into doyle...amazing! its so cool to hear somebody actually play A king licks....most people say they do but just play SRV licks, and have never heard an A king tune in their life. nothing wrong with playing SRV licks tho, he is one of the greatest. but albert is the king of those 3 notes and that bend on the e string!
it would really help to string your guitar upside down like Albert to get that sound, the solo doyle did during crossroads song at crossroads festival
made me cream my pants, I'm seriously considering learning the guitar upside down
yeh, i dont think im gonna do it to all my guitars, becuase i have been playing for a while now, and im started to get a style that i like, but im deff gonna buy a spare guitar to string upside down when i can fford it
didn't really like Doyle at this show. Was the only person i didn't really like, although on this tune he busts out a nice solo. Trucks IMHO stole the show both at day and night.
great thing about doyle is he doesnt always play crazy solo.everyone can play same note as he plays.but his feeling is in the other end of the universe.
Doyle as a true disctinctive guitar voice and is IMHO a true hidden wonder ! I like his style and concision not mentionning his wonderful and soulful voice !
Doyle Bramhall un bon guitariste qui accompagne bien souvent Eric Clapton... Merci
