I saw a White box the other night floating above the houses about 100' up. I live in Las Vegas too. What I saw was not trash, although it moved in the same direction as the wind, but it kept the same altitude and was very stable. It was a box, not a sphere and there was some sort of black dot at the bottom. At first I thought it was the moon, but as I turned the corner around the houses it came into view. It rotated real slow on its axis.
