Fable TLC will always be the best out of the series in my opinion, but the thing that pissed me off the most was the tone modification of Jack's voice.
Why did they have to change it? Does every villain in today's culture have to have a voice that screams "I'm f*kin evil!"?
His original voice gave you the feeling that he could be charismatically appealing to the masses (like in the arena), and yet it seemed to sneer and mock you at every sentence when things later start to go awry.
@TengenMachine i personally liked the change,i thought it was vey fitting compared to the original i mean imagine if the guy who played darth vader in star wars did his voice instead of james earl jones they tried it and it was awful it simply did not fit the character, and to me the same goes for Jack Of Blades the orginal did not fit for a being such as Jack, he was already ancient by the time humans came into existence, as was the rest of the court the Queen of blades and the knight of blades

Fable 1 took me about 2 months to beat, but hey, i was just like 6 years old and it took me forever to even figer out there was a story mode xD. i just had fun killing gaurds for the longest time :P
@sonmon911 I played it for so long the first time when I was younger that I reached legendary status before I even completed the bandit camp quest... I was too scared to do it lol.
Honestly, I beat Fable 2 and 3 in like 5 hours.. Then it was really boring and when i defeated Fable Tlc i still played it, there is just more stuff to do like in getting skills because it will take longer to do and the map is bigger filled with more stuff to do and in fable 3 the map sucks honestly and in fable 2 and 3 the skills are too easy to get and in fable 1 and Tlc there are tons more magic skills and other skills to get and is more harder to.
Fable 1 is the best ( including TLC) out of the series. it has the best story lines. It has more of a dramatic infloincie to the characters and the enemys do too. Fable 2 and 3 just have more detail, weapons, spells and characters. they are alright for slight changes but the story lines are just stuipied and don't make any scense. Fable 3 you can dicied what you want to do but that is the most big change about it. The music in fable 1 and TLC are just splened and sothing.
I played through Fable 1,2 and have almost beaten Fable 3. Fable 1 was fantastic. I don't know how you feel but on me it had an almost mystic, magical atmosphere. Especially because of the story and the kind of music like in the Temple of Light or in the Chamber of Fate. You really feel the anger when a bad guy kills somebody you liked in the game. The ending was also really good. In Fable 2 it was just epic. For me the ending is the only thing that's better in Fable 2.
Fable is the best, II was alright. But III.....just absolute shit. The morality sucked and the overall gameplay sucked. They should have stuck with a more "on topic" storyline, if you will.....Long live the elder Fable.
@ThaMajicHero I agree completely. I got "Fable: The Lost Chapters" as a birthday present, and didn't expect much, but it absolutley blew me out of the water. I thought Fable II wasn't half bad, but it had lost some of of the magic of the first. It felt like... the designers still liked it, but they no longer loved it. And Fable III was just a poor attempt to make money.

@fullellinaras Fable III is 50 or so years after Fable II and Wraithmarsh is Oakvale, Reaver in Fable II is the one that screwed Oakvale into becoming the Wraithmarsh in Fable II.

It can be suggested that because of the age of industry the chamber of fate was lost between fable 2 and 3. the only reference to wraithmarsh is a poster for tours of wraithmarsh which might be where reaver gets his sacrifices. I do agree that fable 3 was random and the plot was not so good but the goal is to defeat logan and then the shadow monster.
You have to remember that 550 YEARS have passed between Fable and Fable III, a lot could've changed in Albion. I certainly saw many changes. Yes, certain atmospheres and areas (A LOT of them) are missing but the names areas were called could've changed and thus are unrecognizable. Over time buildings can fall into disrepair and ruins traditions can be forgotten, and cultures change as societies advance. Bowerstone is a good example of radical change in Fable!

it could elicit genuine emotional responses from the player.
you just wanted to pat the hero on the head,
and tell that little boy who just lost everything,
"It's okay now, you'll be allright, and one day, justice will be yours."
the story was actually serious, not bland or foolish.
the supporting cast was great.
the music was phenominal.
and remember the opening movie, before you started the game?
I still get a shiver down my spine from it.
