and 767s are extremely sensitive on cargo-weight ahead of the wing....I would much rather have a too cautious pilot/co-pilot rechecking his balance sheet....and either rearranging or booting freight or passengers for the sake of safety.

Just look around YouTube. You will see many videos of aircraft with improper loading, W+B so out of kilter the planes crash on takeoff.

So right...the 767 is very tempermental with too much weight up front. That's why first class passengers get bumped....when the more profitable weight is up front and at the limit...Freight always gets priority....freight equates to CASH COW.

los winglets son superficies q se utilisan para contrarestar la resistencia inducida ( es la q se genera en la punta de las alas producto de la diferencia de preciones en las alas) : ) es un muy bonito avion y con esos winglets se ve mejor

Por otra parte las puntas elevadas en las alas se llaman winglets y es un accesorio que ya esta disponible para el Boeing 767 si averiguas mas sabras que Lan ya mando a poner winglets en sus 767 asi como Mas Air el N314LA ya los tiene. Los winglets no tienen nada que ver que sean cargueros o no.

Yes, pilots do load baggage. When I flew a D. H .Twin Otter for Pilgrim Airlines in 1980 on the New London , Bridgeport and La Guardia legs, both Captain and First Officer helped to load baggage, and check load distribution, weight and CG.

Pilgrim Airlines (now defunct) was certainly not a budget carrier by any means, but that was part of the job specs.

You are obviously not a pilot. Pilots make the ultimate go no go decision, the reason is for (say it with me) SAFETY. Weight and balance is extremely important, i have been abored many flights delayed due to improper cargo loading, because it was either to aft or forward of the C of G. From day one when a pilot trains on even a 172 after the a/c has been fueled by the attendant, we visually check the fuel, POH and checklists are made for this very reason. Now go do your research.

I've been on many USAF cargo aircraft flights (C-5, C-17, C-141, etc) to where the Weight and Balance was a little off. No worries on that as long as the maximum gross take-off weight is exceeded. If anything, planes can and always be trimmed for straight and level flight as well as having the flight augmentation working properly.

Impresionante avión, muy buen video. Esto demuestra que Mérida esta muy bien capacitado para la llegada de aviones de gran volumen. Y aunque no es el avión mas grande que a llegado ,es de grandes proporciones y requiere muy buen servicio ,cosa que vi en el video. Gran video
