@dancingnewt Check out his other stuff. He's the most melodic drummer ever, man. He rarely hits cymbals on one - it makes the groove clunky. By the way, he hits the one quite regularly in this groove. It's a weird groove, and it took me a while to realize how backwards I was hearing it, but yeah man, he's all over the one.
