LAST NIGHT I had to ask to be let off the aeroplane before take-off. I think they had already locked the doors, but I really felt I couldn't go through with it, so I continued to ask them to let me off. At first, the Chinese flight attendant (I was on a Chinese airliner) said "NO" you can't get off now, which made my anxiety even worse. This was the first time in over 20 years of flying that I had such an anxious experience...Q/How do I get from Japan to UK without flying???????? I LOVE trains.
face your fears. go ahead, fly. the panic attack is not end of the world.it's a great coping mechanism of the body. after the panic attack your body is flushed with adrenaline and it is a great drug because it clears your mind. the worst part is over and you just sorta veg the rest of the flight. However, if don't want to go through that arc, see doc for Ativan lorazepam. It makes you feel relaxed all day flying. Just like dramamine, don't wait till your on the boat to take it.
The last time I flew, the cabin was very warm, summer in the south, a/c wasn't working & they kept us in this small commuter plane 2.5 hrs working on a luggage door. Into 2nd hour I didn't think I could sit in captive hotbox anymore. I thought I was going to have to make a scene and demand to get off but I just closed my eyes and started praying, reassuring myself I can take this. I recited the Lord's prayer which always works for me. The airlines can legally torture you it seems at times.
ok im cluterphobic really bad sumtym next weeek il be flying for the 1st tym i wonder if ill be able to cope.. i seriously need help i prefer a car with open windows
I am usually ok in planes. I am more concerned if it crashes. Howeverk if the plane is moving very very slowly then I start to panic. I imagine it is about to stall.
Claustrophobia, Well I have to claim this cuase in my job they made me get into a pipe 20 feet under the ground that is real tight. I can fly but I can't go under ground like that it's to scary
I'd like to see how relaxed this guy would be if he spent upwards of 4 hours locked up in a cabin, sitting in a cramped seat and the plane hasn't even left the ground.
