i think the diamond 2 because the software. the hero has android dia.mond 2 has wm. for android aren't so much apps

the only reason i'd go with htc diamond 2 is because it's coming to sprint. Smartphones with sprint saves you alot of money if you want internet

It is a resistive touchscreen that requires pressure - not a capacitive one like the iPhone uses.

Because my friend got an LG cookie the other day, and that needed A LOT of pressure to operate properly?

Or is the pressure needed somewhat similar to the iphone?

It is not a lot of pressure. Almost all phones that require a lot of pressure have software issues. Resistive displays don't require a lot of pressure.

Capacitive is better for finger use and resistive is better for stylus use.
