The head will hurt for the 1st couple of times you do it. buty after u'll get used to it. the key is, NOT to start walking after you do the neck dance. otherwise.......lol
This is a type of Ethiopian dance.. and some ppl all over Ethiopia do this in spiritually elevated momnets during Adu Kebere or Zar gatherings like in tenkuay bett. Crazy but yes Ethiopia is a very complicated country.

I was at Yod Absynnia last Thursday (Mar. 26, 2009) so unless it burned down over the weekend it's still there and the dancers are incredible.

This was in Addis, so I'm not sure what tribe this was from.
I actually hung out with the Wolaytas on my way to the great rift valley. I'm headed back there soon to dig some wells.
