It looks like he had a plectrum holder clipped onto the mic stand and when he tried to pull off a plectrum, he ended up pulling the whole holder off lol. :)
A plectrum is a triangular piece of plastic that guitarists use to strum the strings of the guitar. Another name for a plectrum is a pick, so by pick holder I mean a plectrum holder. It clips onto the microphone stand and you can store your plectrums in there. Google Image search them and you'll see what I mean. :)
