What that definition may fit to, in many circumstances, is in fact "RELIGION" and not "God". At least not the Christian God (that Ms. Hall and M. Scott Peck profess), who through His son teaches freewill, nonjudgement, love of all - including enemies, and self-sacrifice.
Religion, on the other hand, is certainly imperfect as Man is, and it can carry all the characteristics and flaws Man does - including hate, vanity, deceit - "EVIL", as described.
Is it just me or did that definition of evil fit God perfectly?
