I really do love this song. Even though the message seems obvious it's really not.

I think it's about human nature. "I'm sometimes sinner sometimes saint", we all have those days where we only care for ourselves and then we also have those days where we're concerned for others. And the very first lines, well God knows when you're lying, though that could easily be interpreted to a friend of family member than God. All in all, a very deep and awesome song by Skillet.=)

this song is kind of like a testimonial song for those have been in that place where you feel alone and you realize that you have just messed up your life with sin...but then you realize that God is right there in front of you with His hand extended out to you and all you have to do is reach out and take his hand and He will pick you back up and put you back together.
