im a pitcher and on the circle change you want to turn your hand over that way you get movement on the ball that way it tails and drops. maybe you ment he was overdoing just what i think

To find your natural arm slot go to the outfield center field preferably and have someone hit you some balls throw them on one hop to third base and home then have some hit to the fence quickly but under control turn and throw them right straight to the center of the infield having someone observe better yet video tape each throw view each arm movement from start to release, no dropped elbows.

I go to the field by myself every day, hit & throw balls against the back stop.
