Damn listen to that first Mack that went past you at the start! :D I gotta say I do enjoy watching these mixers cruise past, they can really sound nice - and those Sterlings I've come across really let off a roar!!! They also sound similar to the Accos sometimees, wonder if they have Cummins engines too?
@MitchellM15 hey mate, i have just bought a MACK metroliner 8x4 agitator, i have just undertaken a contract with HOLCIM, but i have the HOLCIM paint scheme, just thought i'd comment as i spent a while looking at various trucks and can answer ur question, the MACK Metroliner, Iveco Acco, and Sterling HX all run the Cummins ISL 320HP, and as required for a contract with HOLCIM, the Allison 6 speed auto, all three trucks are same engine and gearbox.
@Blandy086 What about the older Macks and Sterlings? I figure the ISL engine only came about due to the 2011 emission standards for them too, because the ACCO used to have ISCs sitting under the cab.
