  • i like ure Beard Brother, looks very good

  • @kaydolien Shukran

  • DAWAHWORKS. THE SHAYKH in this video..come to NAMCC - North Austin Muslim Community Center - Austin, Tx

    good video

the skies are about to rip because they say allah has begotten a son

    astagfurallah

  • What's the point of criticizing these people? You all believe in one God, correct? If they truly changed their lives for the better, then you should at least give them some respect. By mocking their beliefs, you're just allowing people to mock your beliefs too. But this is just common courtesy, which you apparently lack.

  • Ameen brother! Let's unite as 1 ummah worshipping 1 God.

  • Brother,I'm not saying that ur misinformed. And also,we should still respect their beliefs and their ministry, even if they are misguided. I believe that they are doing good with their ministry. Even if they worship the creation and not the Creator.we should still respect them and what they preach, even if we ourselves don't believe in it.

  • Insha Allah... One day we may agree on what is "GOOD". & I pray that we agree on Islam's definition & not society's.

  • They are our brothers in humanity. And the Quran says that Jews and Christians are 'People of the Book'. Therefore we should at least respect them even if u believe that what they believe is false. If we cannot respect other peoples beliefs, then how are we different or better than people who bash the Islamic religion because they are misinformed.

    'i'm just replying' :)

  • The difference wuld b that I am not misinformed. "Ppl of the Book" are a category of kuffar. In Suratul Bayyinah Allah (swt) says they will be in hell for their slanderous beliefs...

Islam is a system, not a petty religion.

HQ 5:17 They indeed have disbelieved who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say : Who then can do aught against Allah, if He had willed to destroy the Messiah son of Mary, and his mother and everyone on earth?

  • I ddnt understand the purpose of this video. I'm sure that the christian brothers had full faith. It seems to me that you were mocking thier faith, and that is not Islamic. We should respect what they believe, and likewise. The christian men were nice and very sincere and probably do a lot of good in their community. Besides the 1 God part in this vid, I saw nothing else that pertained to Islam or Muslims.

  • Shukran for viewing this vid... But I must ask you a question: How can a person have "full faith" in an empty belief???

Also, why do you call them "christian brothers", when Quran says that 'Only the believers are brothers'... also 'Only those are believers who BELIEVE IN ALLAH & HIS MESSENGER.'

    "Im Just Saying"

  • @dawahworks

Asalamu Alaikom Wa Rahmatullahe Wa Barakatu. I enjoyed the video and understand the message.

  • Omar & Pete is available on Netflix if you have a subscription and are interested.

  • I have not seen this film, but any Muslim that is "struggling" with sobriety needs more to be cultured in the belief & more away from those brain-dead recovery programs based in christianity or any other. I'll watch it & get back to you.

  • Thank you. Just to be clear. My purpose in pointing you to "O&P" is to show that Muslims & Christians come from this strata of society. Of course there are upper & middle class people who come to our faiths also. Omar seems to be a sincere man who wants to practice his religion & work hard. It is not so easy to leave behind that life. The man in your video, even if he does not share your deen, is to be respected for choosing to turn toward God. Why not make dua for him instead of mocking him?

  • Watch my video "Prislam". So far what I understand from Omar & Pete is that Omar is a Muslim that hasn't lived Islam as of yet &, as i said, needs to immerse himself in the Islamic culturing & concepts.

I don't post my du3as of YT. But I understand what your saying.

  • I watched Prislam. Thank you. Yes, I see your point. Omar may have had more success if he had immersed himself in the community. Conditions of his parole, the mandated 1/2way house & the need to make a living may have hindered that. IDK. Is there a Muslim presence in the area of recovery? Omar was n&out of rehab.

But main point--"crackheads" [sic] & ramblings of gratitude by recovering addicts r not exclusive to Christianity. Y'all have your share.

  • It appears to me that you exploited a vulnerable man to fulfill your desire to make a video. I did not see any compassion or understanding, but rather mocking and scorn. There are downtrodden people who come to Christianity & Islam, just look at the jail system.

I highly recommend the documentary "Omar and Pete" to you. It shows two Muslim men, struggling to maintain sobriety and stay out of jail. The pull of drugs is no laughing matter. No one should be mocked for sincerely seeking the Truth.

  • By the same token we must all keep in mind that ignorance is bliss and above all we as individuals will give an account for our own Deen. On a lighter note brother you looked good out there. Keep sparking the attention of others. I will always be in support of you and your work. Excellent.

  • As Salamu Alaikum Brother,

My you've caused quite a controversy with this video. I really like that. I like the fact that your actions are causing a reaction. Insha'Allah those of us posting comments are not just talking for the sake of hearing ourselves talk but doing our part as to not be guilty of just hearing but doing

  • i think both of you dont know what your talking about brother dawahworks--does more dawah then both of you so u shouldnt talk alot of people came to islam because of dawahworks channel he knows what hes doing this video is 5 minutes so you dont know what he said to them off video so instead of talking about him why dont you do the same may allah bless you brother dawahworks salaaam

  • Subhaanallah! I dont deserve what you said of good in reference to me.

We all have faults. The problem is many share the fault of ignorance of their own Deen.

May Allah save us from ignorance.

    Ameen!

  • As Salamu Alaikum Brither I know its 2 years later but I appologise for the comment that I made in reference to your appearence in the photos it 2 wrongs never make a right. I was very wrong for my comments.

  • Doing something right does not give you the right to do some esle wrong, Children learn by example not by advice.

  • Doing something Right does not give you the right to do something wrong,. ever. Children learn by example not from advice. Allah gave us an example why can't we strive to follow it. Understanding that we make mistakes, taking ownership and trying to correct them is all we can do. For those who dont understand im not taking away his accomplishments Dawah just trying to open more doors.

  • Also Brother those pics dont do you any Justice. I will leave you with two questions. "are we Muslim? Can we act as Muslims Should. Assalamu alaykum.

  • I agree with sister amani if this guy is a Muslim then he should act as Muslim 1st. Yes its true that brothers and sisters come to Islam as well as other religions during times of woe. So again as I said before Dawah is supposed to be given with adab, so disrespecting the people of the book doesn't make you a better person. Also just because you aknowledge ALLAH as the one true god, doesn't give you the right to disrespect others. This was an MLK march not a Christian or Muslim march.

  • saythetthen,

I agree with you and sister Amani, Dawah should be done in a respectful manner. If someone is misguided we should not look down upon them in disrespect, we should have a dialogue in a dignified manner.

Definitely dawahworks is putting a lot of time and effort in doing Dawah but if we see our brother doing wrong we should correct him/her.

Brother Dawahworks, your criticism was also not done in a polite manner, but you can use the opportunity improve your work and be more humble.

  • Instead of rolling your eyes and crossing your arms, how about giving them some dawah?

  • aRE YOU mUSLIMAH? iF SO WHY? sERIOUSLY, WHY?? Before Islam the only thing that separated the Arabs from dogs is that the Arab walked upright. They also buried their baby daughters alive, etc...

You are deluded to compare those who leave shirk & drugs to only commit shirk without drugs as "good".

Typical racist wanna be believer or self hating negroid.

  • Racist? No. Self hating negroid? No. Muslimah? Yes, and I dont have to prove that to you only to Allah. I acknowledged that associating Jesus with Allah is shirk, I said that first and foremost. What I disagreed with was your rude demeanor and statement about their Outreach Program. And to point out that there are problems in the African American community and amongst Muslims of that background, does not make me racist. It is the sad reality of things.

  • I commend these young men for their efforts in trying to get the youth away from gang violence, drugs, alcohol, and sin. I posed the question where are our programs? If you are going to use the name DAWAHWORKS, I am confused about what kind of dawah you gave these people. Salam alaikum brother in Islam.

  • Most of these brothers in the masjid sound just like these christians, but thats all they do-talk.

  • "you ever wonder why you have to be all drugged out and living on the bottom before you need jesus, i mean shouldnt rich people have jesus, shouldnt people that never did drugs or alcohol have jesus?"

I could say the same thing about half the black muslim brothers in my community. Why did they have to be all drugged out, fornicating, abusing women, ditching their kids leaving them to the streets before they found the teachings of (insert prophet) and Allah?

  • I have to agree with BruteForceFilms: You come off as mocking their heartfelt intentions to get the youth away from doing drugs, committing crimes, and drinking. I understand shirk is the worst sin you can commit but even as a young muslim I can understand what they are getting at.

Atleast they are trying to better themselves and their community, going to people that are going through the same things they did. Its more than I can say for the muslims in my community.Where are our programs?

  • LOL PWNED.

  • You say that marching and rallies will not end the troubles happening in Palestine. You then say "but seeking solution the way the prophet sought solution is the only way to get rid of the jews in Palestine."

But you do not say what that solution was . So what was the final solution the prophet used? Please say exactly what is the solution.

  • Go to my channel & view:

IJS: 1, 2 Step To Success... In The West

  • Also, about the democratic process...Democracy is, at its core, about man legislating and deciding right from wrong. Don't you think that's God's job instead of man's? Wouldn't that make a lot more sense, for law to come from that which is perfect rather than from that which is prone to failure and fault?

  • CalifSunshine, I will not deny that their intentions are good. However, Shariah law is perfect. It appeals to intellect and human nature. Research it and you'll see what I mean.

I think people should at least give Shariah a sincere try before criticising it.

  • u iz a funny imam (i meant that in a good way mashaAllah lol)

keep up the good work may Allah reward/bless you - Ameen

  • i have seen this over and over 5 from me love it keep it up

  • iamamuslimareu is right, the only type of government that can be without all the complications, inconveniences, and general bullpie of the governments we live in today is a proper Islamic republic. Islam must rule as a complete system, not just a religion.

AND LOL masha Allah this is a good video. Much better for us Muslims to see than non-Muslims though, they probably won't interpret it properly.

  • So you think that American's will just turn over our democratic process to Sharia Law? This young man had problems with drugs and alchohol and turned his life around. There are many Christians that don't have those problems that love Jesus. Sometimes our greatest weaknesses end up being our greatest strengths. This man can help others, because he suffered. God bless him for helping others.

  • as salam al laykum I love this wow Allah has bless you love the new look keep it up

  • masha'Allah akhi lol Im a bit tired of these "Outreach Ministries". "Come stop being gang bangers and commit Shirk" subhana'Allah. good video bro 5 stars

  • you make a good point about them not worsiping the right things but why are u such a DICK about there program. They are doing wy much more than you. You'r basically mocking them.

  • EXACTLY, and he doesn't even say it in front of them.

  • "God is giving me a vision."

What the ....? This man receives visions from none other then Shaytan himself!

  • This brothers on point all the time. Mashallah. Anyone reading this comment take note of what SaadImam said in the clip about the solution to the ummahs problems. Calling on Usa or israel to stop what their doing aint stoppin nuttin nor is boycotting israeli products. The United nations aint doing jack either. The only solution is the re-establishment of the islamic state based on the method of our beloved prophet Muhammerd pbuh. Bro take care nice vid and may allah give u strength in the dawah

  • bro.. you need to make more videos :)

    missed ya !

  • LOL @ the end

  • hahah at the end was a great surprise!

  • FIRST!!

To everything u said " tru that"!!
