Price is alright, it's competitively priced, there are lots of ultra-portables that have less memory, slower processors and smaller screens and cost more than the air so you shouldn't be complaining about the price and btw, the competitors computers are also thicker but some weight a little less, do you know how much engineering Apple and Intel had to do to get the Air's processor??? the price of that processor should be a lot even though it's only 1.6Ghz

kp I just have to question why you got this when you own a Macbook Pro.. I mean is the 1 inch thickness of the MBP too big in your eyes? I mean what you lose in the .2 to .8 inches in thickness over the MBP, you lose so much... I guess if I could get one I would I mean you never know when you'll need to put your laptop in a manila folder, but it just seems like this product has so much room for improvement

My doctor told me that my spine was curving in the wrong direction dur to the weight of my bag, and instead of getting spinal surgery when I'm 50, I would rather take action now. I just use my MacBook for video sharing/viewing along with taking notes in class and email. I use this for powerpoint presentations also during class.

but if u use bootcamp [the program that lets u run windows]

u will ned a virus protection

but other then that u can use Windows on a intel based mac

Yeah, I take my laptop all around college. I use a sling laptop bag (its killing my shoulder). I need the OS because I have encountered too many problems on Windows. Also I use .mac a lot to retrieve files from my MBP and all of my comp systems are macs. I am Indian BTW with a slight British accent. I'm happy your not insulting it.
