What I want to know is why Honda is continuing pouring money into the Acura racing division when it has canceled the new NSX and the S2K replacement. Nobody watches ALM..so it can't be for marketing. Honda now has NO sports cars...yet goes sports car racing? Makes no sense...Soccer Moms and Hybrid drivers don't care about racing..and with no S2K or NSX..that is who now makes up the typical Honda customer.

I understand the moves by Cad and Honda. The Cad is nothing but an overpriced Corvette very few desire and GM needs to cut its losses and focus on saving the company. I LOVE MY S2K...I have an 04. But the S2K has always been a slow seller..it is a VERY focused car that Joe Average driver would not enjoy. It rides hard,no torque, noisy, and it is unforgiving of bad drivers. Honda like, everyone else, has to go where the money is...and limited production low margin sports cars are not it.

lmao. the gt-40 is british, made by the ford british engineers with british money, the srt 10 sucks horribly on and off the track, the saleen s7 idk enough about it, the gto is australian, it's a rebadged holden monaro, and the z06 is awesome... but sucks if you take it off the track. the best corvette, and the one that works as a road-car is the zr1.

No, they wouldn't, because that would make it even more expensive. It's not selling because its competitors are cheaper with more power. Seriously, for the price of a S2000 you could get a 3 series bimmer, or for thousands less you could get a 370Z.

S2000 wouldn't be an S2000 if it had a turbo. Hell it's not even an S2000 anymore NOW. It's a S2200 with only an 8500 RPM redline. The real S2000 died a few years ago. You couldn't get a convertible 3 or 370Z for less than an S2000. Good riddance to the fake S2000. Just get a clean used one with the real 2.0 9000 RPM engine.
