My ex and I were separated for 2 years at 450 miles apart. I saw her once a month. This song describes the feeling of longing during a distance relationship. Unfortunately she broke up with me nearly 3 months before I graduated. This song haunts me as well; but I continually listen to it over and over again; taking several trips down memory lane. Everytime I hear the lyrics, "I wonder if you're sleeping, I want to wake you up," I feel that way in that moment. I miss her.
