  • Well done guys! Love Tony Kaye.

  • i thought that was Billy on guitar... you mean that's billy playing bass? they look a LOT alike.

Both have some Val Kilmer thing

  • I think Jimmy did pretty good on this ehh?

  • Ok, Billy is it long enough , can I post here again, I hear you know someone in the band ;-) you've won me over

Thanks for being so kind to so many of my friends. yeppers, you programmed the synths right have a great year~ Chris "Yesman90125"

  • GREAT!!! Tony Kaye's Hammond performances are incredible...

  • Tony is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He's more of a fan of the fans. Glad to see him still in top notch and good health.

  • Billy Sherwood is a class act--talent, chops, spirituality, plus he can actually get along with

some very difficult people (not the guys in Circa: : )

  • Jon Anderson, Billy Sherwood, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman, and a drummer.

    What a band.

  • We play every song by Circa 24/7 please click our name uk70sprogrock now!

  • Sherwood is awesome. Great tunes CIRCA. Can't wait to hear the new cd. Met Billy at ASIA concert. What a gracious and humble guy. Good luck gents!!

  • That That Is and Endless Dream?!Those are my 2 favorite Yessongs(along with HOTSR).

  • This DVD ROCKS!! Just purchased awhile ago! While the new original Circa: material is steller, this DVD is worth the price just for the Chronological Journey medley along! Looking forward to Circa:2008! Keep it coming!!

Billy ... your bass tone is freakin awesome!!

  • Billy Sherwood is an AMAZING basist, song writer, singer. All the guys in this band are excellent!

  • What a band! Kinda sucks that Alan White is being replaced though!

  • sounds good....really good

  • Wonderful, simply breathtaking.

  • When I read "Yes medley" I groaned inwardly, however I enjoyed hearing this music played live. I may buy the DVD, do Circa play any of the good 80s/90s Yes stuff in the medley? (I'm Running, Miracle of Life, Endless Dream, That That Is, etc.)

  • what model of bass is Billy Sherwood playing here? It looks similar to a Rickenbacker but it's something else.

  • Kubicki basses from Santa Barbara

  • Kubiki Ex-Factor

  • i have been a yes fan for almost 15 years now and very disappointed by their hiatus (for financial reasons?)... I must say i absolutely love their music, they are just genius !!

In 2008, i discovered circa : please keep on like this : YOU ARE THE FUTURE OF YES

  • Yes is having a 40th Anniversary Tour this year. Line-up:

    Jon Anderson (Vocals)

    Chris Squire (Bass)

    Steve Howe (Guitar)

    Alan White (Drums)

    Oliver Wakeman (Keyboards)

  • Wow! You're not kidding! What happened to Rick! This time it can't be bitterness, I imagine, since his son is sitting in.

  • According to Jon, Rick's doctor said he didn't have the health to tour large-scale. It'll be interesting to hear Oliver on keys. I'm still praying they add a stop in Phoenix.

  • Rick's website confirms he doesn't feel he's up to touring and frankly thinks Jon shouldn't either.

  • It would be cool if Circa: toured with Yes. Maybe even Yes, Circa:, and Asia together! The time is Circa: 2008. The place is Asia. The word is Yes.

  • Do you have a tour plan? Which countries will they visit in europe?

  • Jimmy is amazing, he not only captures the spirit of Howe, but adds his own distinct flair. Quite the guitarist, best I've heard in a decade, up there with luminaries like Richard Thompson and others who push the envelope of the genre!

    Earl Grey

  • These are so great! I put them on my favorites! Listening to Jimmy's guitar here makes me amazed at Howe and the amazing wonderful odd connection he has from his brain to his fingers!

  • Looks like you guys are having a great time!!!! Just don't stop!

  • hermano ... te envidio sanamente !!

    Bro..I naively envy you !!

  • I envy me too!

You'll never know how many times I'd wished I was me!

Hey, wait a minute! I AM ME!

    Whew! that was close!

  • I just ordered the DVD, can't wait!

  • U know...wow, u guys rock...and i gotta say that Jimmy plays just as well if not a little bit sharper and faster than Howe can CURRENTLY, so its refreshing to hear CTTE at its proper speed once again. Props, and on the other chronological journy clip Haun does an even better job, thats the stand out performance for me, props to you jimmy, those are big shoes to fill and you did great!

  • I never thought I will see Tony Playing Close to the Edge..I think is he is a terrific hammond and keyboard player. His work in the Circa debut album is inmaculate as the one performed by Billy (hell of a bass player) Jimmy (I like his style) and of course Allan (no comment..he is simply superb)..CIRCA is the new modern prog phenomenon!!

  • Thanks for posting this, Billy. I'm sure Jimmy has a *whole new* appreciation for Steve Howe after having to work his way through all that Yes material.

  • I'd like to think Steve has a whole new appreciation for Jimmy, as well. Especially after the bad feelings toward him with regard to "Union".

  • Yeah, I am a very big fan of Steve Howe..4 me he is my favorite guitar player (of course together with Rabin, Fripp, Hackett and Guilmour)..but by some reason when he plays with Yes (lately ..the last 8 years) we has sticked himself to a more jazzy style and lost his virtuoso psycodelic and magic rock style..I think he need to get back to this way..i like the jazzy style too,but I guess you get the picture

  • Agreed.

  • Boy I sure do agree with that take on Howe! Jimmy's the biggest Howe fan of all and he does him proud, but first hes does Peter Banks and after he does Trevor and even Billy! Funny stuff. Jimmy has a very distinct style of his own, but is a world class chameleon. He's very respectful of these melodies. As Yes fans know, these are parts not solos. He plays them well!

  • u are right! though he's a chameleon playing the differents styles through Yes History..he has his own particular style.

In the Circa album he is not only powefull but virtuoso..specially in "Brotherhood of Man"..This album is the best prog work made in a while !!
