  • Some of these students are very smart!! Imagine how they can help their countries when they return!!

  • People like those whom post here don't remember that this country was founded by...oh, I don't know immigrants. Or did the natives want to be slaughtered...

  • @Ivantheserious But the immigrants that came here weren't filthy disgusting beaners!!!

  • @TheAmericanDefender seriously, how old are you 10- 11??? If you were in front of me I'd beat your ass kid!

  • @oJAYarista shut up beaner

  • @TheAmericanDefender easy there MILK MAN ALBINO BITCH!! go play withyour coloring books and listen to EMINEM you fuckin lame. AMERICAN DEFENDER?? really, what are you defending? tell me???

  • @oJAYarista Rap is a music for scum. I am defending America from non-white races.

  • Benedict Arnold's are helping the invasion constitutes a traitorous act that betrays it's country and their trust. We need to consider impeachment of these groups of people in collusion with betrayal to our country towns and cities are already in peril because of them.

  • Anytime illegals get more benefits like this, what how many more jump the non existent border. Even if these illegals graduate college they still can't get a job legally and pay taxes like us citizens. It's time to quit paying taxes until the borders are closed and they actively start getting rid of 40 million illegals for breaking the law.

  • And they can and will be our future welfare collecters, criminals, prison inmates , unwed mothers, street corner beggars.

  • @Depotman122 that can apply to anyone legal or not.

  • Pandering to voters that do not give a fuck about education, the environment, or morals. These ILLEGALs are all on welfare, having 4-5 kids, on foodstamps, crowding our schools, dealing drugs, gangs, shooting us at games, while the DEMOCRATs say screw you middle class families that pay taxes. FUCK YOU DURBIN & FUCK YOU OBAMA.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor you're totally generalizing illegals.

But anyways, it pisses me off how illegals get to pick classes first before american students. They even pay less than out-of-state american students! (WTF)

it's weird how my foreign exchange friends are not qualified for loans and other aids when the illegals do!!!!

  • @xXxPiousNinjaxXx The Asian Americans, that want to major in Engineering or the Sciences are rejected for less qualified ILLEGALs. These morons major in CHICANO STUDIES or basket weaving courses. We are forced to take these stupid GE CHICANO requirements so that it takes us 6 years to graduate, take out loans, & when we get high tech jobs they tax us even more so the ILLEGALs can overcrowd our kids schools, lowering our standards so that now our kids are too stupid & the CHINESE kids get in.

  • go to my profile and wach me trying to chase my dream.?

  • Every legal American has benefited indirectly from immigration reforms starting with the NATURALIZATION ACT OF 1790. It was the first to grant citizenship ONLY TO WHITE PERSONS and WOMEN COULD ONLY BENEFIT FROM THIS LAW IF her father had been a resident or citizen regardless about her mom's status. If it weren't for that and the numerous other laws that followed, ALL the people who aren't native american and against the Dream Act would of been born in another country or currently undocumented.

  • Feeling American your entire life only to find out years of honor roll and high GPA won't earn you the scholarship you studied hard for... can't get a decent job because you lack a social security number... or a drivers license to drive to the few college classes you can afford ... or an ID to buy cough medicine when you're sick... is not a life any Dream Act student would wish upon anyone else. Basic necessities suddenly turn fearful and law-breaking. Living in the shadows in an understatement.

  • @onel0velopez Question: Do you know of any documentary or short film addressing the issue of the DREAM Act students?? Because if not me and a partner plan on creating a documentary featuring this whole topic.

  • The U.S. keeps falling behind other countries intellectually and economically. Undocumented students are intelligent, bi-lingual and have the EXPERIENCE of being the victim of unfair laws. Most government officials have been blessed not to endure the hardships they judge and make decisions on every day. American leaders of tomarrow need to be empathetic towards their society, and what better leader than the one who's walked in those shoes?

  • Children depend on their parents to survive. They can't make their own decisions. Parents deciding to grab their children and leave their home, relatives, town, and language must obviously be horrendous. The circumnstances influencing their decision have to be unbearable. Would you take your children, and leave everything behind for a new life in China just because? No, you would only do it for survival. The Dream Act is no easy passage. Read the 28 page bill before you opinionate.

  • So if i go into mexico and live there for 5 years do i get a mexican dream act because i came there illegally? Fuck no because mexico is a piece of shit and its people are free loading, corrupt, drug dealing cartel filtth. Its not a matter of race... Its a matter of character so you race mongering fucks can give that shit a rest... But then you would be speechless because using "race" is your fucking meal ticket. Bean eatin mother fucking leeches.

  • The answer is simple... if immigrants don't like the laws that apply to them... well... GET THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!

  • @FISHFLYZZ

Illegal aliens don't have social security numbers so they can't pay taxes. Nor are they elligible for ITINs because they are not permitted to work here. That's the law, nothing more.

  • Whoops. Ethnicity*

  • The dream act should pass. My eithnicity is Alaskan Native and i'm considered illegal.. wtf? -_-

  • Dick, THANK YOU!

This is exactly what the GOP needs for amunition for the 2012 election cycle.

The American constiuency, and more particularly those most inclined to vote, are OVERWHELMINGLY against the Nighmare Act.

Keep pressing. Tie the dems and Obama to this act. Let everyone know... THE DEMS AND OBAMA ARE TEH SUPPORTERS OF AMNESTY!

Great work. The damage that you are doing to your own party is more than the GOP could ever do.

    2012 will be 2010 redux.

  • In 1980's, United States gave about 4 million illegal aliens amnesty. This time it is 11 million I heard. Lets' say we give another amnesty to those 11 million since there are too many illegal aliens to control. The thing is number of illegal aliens keep growing after mass amnesty. Next time there are 24 million illegal aliens, then what do we do? We willhave no choice but to give amnesty to 25 million then.......again and again and again.

  • @xoxak888 what part of the dream act do you not understand? only a few hundred thousands, maybe a million at most, young people will benefit from it. dream act is NOT amnesty. there are many strict requirements to be eligible, too.

  • @wralphh

What makes the most sense is shipping them out and upholding our immigration laws. There are plenty of people in the world who do just that; what makes illegal aliens so special that they get to bypass the rules? If these kids want to blame anyone for their situation they can blame their parents for creating it in the first place.

  • @JSmith345543 that's very easy to say when you have never been in their shoes

  • @wralphh

Breaking the law, siphoning funds from tax payers, those are things anyone can understand regardless of the shoes they've walked in. I never said their situation wasn't sad, but it's also not an excuse for doing something the wrong way.

  • @JSmith345543 illegal doesn't necessary mean wrong. it's not their fault. and notice i'm only talking about the dreamers, ignorant children brought here by their parents. we should never put the law higher than these innocent people. if they were given legal status they would pay taxes because they must either go to college or join the military, both of which produce citizens capable of improving our economy. go have a look at the dream act forums sometime, maybe you'll open your heart to them.

  • @wralphh

Believe me, I'm no fool; I can understand the kids' plights. But the DREAM act needs to be modified. If they're going to offer amnesty to these kids it needs to cover a very specific set of people and be cut-off thereafter. Basically, this needs to a one shot thing and then the borders need to be tightened up, in conjunction with deportations from that point forward, kid or not. Ideally, and out of respect to legal immigrants, I still think there shouldn't be any amnesty, period.

  • @JSmith345543 It is very specific. Have you even look at the eligibility requirements? For example, only those who were present in the US for 5 years prior to the law would be eligible. No chance for anyone coming outside that time frame. I do agree that the borders need to be secured once and for all.

  • @caryash sorry I'm falling asleep the end is... ( you don't have a social sucurity number what would u do? Put ur self in there position.....)

  • @caryash what is the right way to come into this country legally ????? How do u become legal the right way in the US?? Most of these students came in when they were kids any ways.. What are u talking about I do have respect for those who are waiting ?? First of all my question is why does it take 16 years ?but let's put it this way.. If ur parents brought u from Mexico when u were two and now 23 years later you are done with college and you can't work in the job u studied for because u don'

  • @anunez7884 he/she doesn't have an answer to that, because currently on their side of the opposition, they have no answer and will just keep telling you "illegal is illegal" or "they are raping our economy".

  • No to the dream act. Blame your parents no to the government. There are thousands of really good students and professionals outside who are trying to find a job and there are not enough jobs.

  • DREAM ON ACT!

  • Dick, THANK YOU!

  • sweet !

  • I have a question for anybody.. How is it that American people find nothing wrong with same sex marriage.. But they are not ok with students that came here when they were 2 or 10 years old that have america in there heart and feel american ... Should be deported out of the us, because they came not because they wanted to but, because there parents made them...?? Don't america have heart anymore ? Ain't this a country of freedom?

P.s. I have Nothing against gay people....

  • @anunez7884 what about people who came to this country the right way, what abou thousands of adults and kids who are in the line waiting to get into this country legally? Do you respect those people?. So you want the government to give resident to those who came here illegally and reward their parents? If those kids are here blame their parents not the government.

  • First thing that pisses people off is the word "immigrant." They don't seem to have the capacity to look beyond a legal status and see that immigrants aren't bad. The main reason why most immigrants came to the US is for opportunities that will make them successful in their life. Sadly, they hit a wall where they realize that they can't work because of one thing, their legal status. Sadly that's my situation. Excellent grades, teacher recommendations, honors and ap classes...worthless.

  • see people don't seem to understand, This law will change our lives!. why would another human being not allow for people to have a better way of life?

  • To the people who are saying they get a free ride trough college they don't my bro in-law paid his with his own money 80,000 for 4years... With the help of his dad..

  • I feel bad for the kids that have to leave there family's everyday and smart kids that could possibly fine a cure for some sickness get kick out of wonderfull country we call America its not there fault there parents came here.....

  • My brother in-law is in the same position smart went to the university of Illinois!!! He finally gave up and left the country........... But any way his brother is a citizen and he wanted to help him with his problem.... But it take 15 years to help out your own brother they say its cause imigration is backed up... If I were to work that slow at my job ill be fired.. a lot of these kids have brothers and sisters that are citizens if they can fine away to make that process quicker will help to...

  • I hope this passes this year

  • this need to pass!!

it would be so inhumane if the republicans dont let it pass.

  • I hope this passes! It seems like it gets closer and closer everytime it comes to vote! It's gotta happen sooner or later!

  • HOW IS THE WORLD GOING TO MIX IF WE CAN EVEN ALLOWED PEOPLE TO LIVE IN OUR COUNTRY??

  • People who refuse to realize the seriousness of the fact that there are over 300 million college graduates in China, similar to the total American population, need to educate themselves. America will not be the same if it does not take a serious look at opening oportunity for every child who lives in this country to be educated and contribute to our economy.

  • Senaror Durbin, Menedez and Blumenthal you represent the most decent in America. I admire your courage for I realize that this is Polical capital you are spending but it is also the right thing for America. Many people do not realize how important is to include everyone to open oportunity to all children if we as a country are to remain competitive in the Global economy.

  • In conclusion, it has been stated and repeated that there are many restrictions on who qualifies as well as penalties. First, undocumented students have not and will not receive grants or scholarships only student loans benefiting US. Second, permanent status takes 6yrs citizenship 3yrs later. Americans(anti-immigrants) have to accept that if an undocumented student is accepted to college than an American it's because they had better grades and test scores. This is just an unaccepted excuse.

  • continued... Overall mission of them is to work for as long as they can and return back to their country and live in tranquility, while their children see USA as their country, elders return knowing they had a chance of life and help to changed their childrens life for the better. To say they take American jobs is plane wrong, to say that an employer hired someone with no education and no english language than an American is a ridicule.

  • In order to understand immigration from the south, you must be open to the motifs, actions, and their overall mission. Recently, I came across several documentaries of immigrants crossing and they all had similar motifs; An opportunity at life for themselves and family, earning only $12/per day is not enough to sustain ones self let alone a family. Actions, many of them like Americans are in debt. They pay $3,000 or more to come to America and its not guaranteed and life threatening.

  • @carlosrevolution16 nah I'm not the racist, you are. have you ever been to a kintergarten class? thats what this is starting to sound like. why do these students get priority? you act like their aren't people waiting in line to come here legally. you act like we haven't let millions of people in already, no you just want more...well we can't be the worlds babysitter. if countries didn't want americans in after we already let millions of their countrymen in then they would be hypocrites.

  • @screwopenborders I really can't believe how greedy you are, we've already been more than nice with the amnesty back in the 80s with Reagan....YOU WANT MORE NOW? WOW!

  • @screwopenborders i'm not man, read first, i said give the SAME chance to those students like a normal american, wtf? i want more, look man, this act is just for students, for those students who wants to work here, to be somebody, to improve the american economy, but u know what, ok, let's kick the whole bunch of immigrants out of this country, and u'll see how this economy would fall in matter of hours man, this act it's just for students that have been here for long time,

  • @carlosrevolution16 so you break into the country and you should be allowed to get a full ride through college? Who should pay for that? Or you break into a country and you should be allowed to stay? They aren't immigrants. Illegal means illegal, immigrant is an immigrant. I don't think the economy would be bad off, its already tanking due to undercutting of wages by illegals and the housing bubble.

  • @screwopenborders i won't waste my time with u, u have a close mind, u don't see the reality, talking with u is like talking with a baby, do u know the "illegal" people pay taxes?, do u know they don't have tax return?, this is not a immigration reform for everybody, just for students, this economy would be worse without those immigrants, but i support the DREAM ACT, if u don't is ur deal, i won't continue arguing with u

  • @carlosrevolution16 I don't have a closed mind, I just know corruption is behind letting millions of people in. You know why democrats pander to hispanics? Because they want votes! We have too many other problems to be worrying about immigration. Do you even keep up with the patriot act? What about gun grabbers, do you like them? I know illegals that have fake SS numbers pay taxes but don't get them back, why would they get anything back if they stole someones number?

  • @screwopenborders just for ur knowledge, there is something call IRS number, that this gov't gives to them, with this number, they pay taxes, no with fake social

  • @carlosrevolution16 Yeah thats true, your right. I think you are talking about people under work visas right? I think if we allow this sort of thing to happen, won't it encourage more people to come illegally? What if we start letting more people in legally, will that make you guys happy?

  • @screwopenborders no man, u can search it on the web, ITIN number, anybody can get it with a passport, no visa, passpport from their countries,, they pay taxes with it, even illegal people man

  • yoh, this is complicated, but this act is not a general immigration reform, it's not, it's just an act to help students, it's not even financial aid, it would give a loan that they pay back later,

  • @screwopenborders yoh, first, i can't see the link cause' it says " not found", ar u sure u send me the right link, then, i support the dream act, cause' at school and in college i see how latin students, i'm not talking about mexicans, but latin people, latin students that make their effort to study, to pay the college, they deserve opportunities, and by the way, this country was made by immigrants, don't u know the history of this country?

  • @carlosrevolution16 you can't see your own racism? Why don't you support education for everyone? Why is it just for latinos? This country being was made by immigrants? So you tallied everyone that came in and whether or not they were born here? If someone is born here legally then they are not an immigrant. Also if you want to get technical those immigrants were legal, not illegal. Why would we reward people that came in illegally? Of course I know history, do you?

  • " this is not just a piece of legislation, this is matter of justice" 2:01

  • @carlosrevolution16 /watch?v=lTwiNErhNq4&feature=autoplay&list=ULe97g-uIWspI&index=24&playnext=1

  • Boooo

  • The Dream Act makes perfect sense to any thinking person. This is not an issue for party politics.

  • @LiveCheapMakeArt this is the non-partisan viewpoint right here =

  • @elphoenikera probably thought twice about some traitorous activity and his masters had him beat up.
