  • Nice video, cool that the artist kept so much original concepts, proud of his work :)

  • This film needs more merchandise!!! Sick & tired of trying to track down Blade Runner related merch.

  • Greatest movie I have ever seen, eventhough it is not perfect.

  • freakish illustrator, absolute genius in both imagination and technical ability.

  • Syd Mead himself is a genius

  • of scenes that ranges from the mildly. I've watcher this movie T O T A L L Y F R E E @ MovieWatcher(.)US

  • Wonderful stuff! Thanks for making this!

  • totally misunderstood what he was saying about the different TVs changing colour at the same time.

He was just saying that the TVs would all change colour simultaneously, and so the models would have to do the same thing: Every window that was coloured blue-ish, would change colours simultaneously, because everyone is watching the same channel.

  • o/ to syd mead

  • Check out the videos at "Highendcrazy" they are absolutely hilarious

  • Not likely since the total casualties over the duration of the war are less than the total deaths for 1 day (d-day) in WW2

  • None of my co-workers have come back in a sack and we spend so much time in Iraq; we could apply for dual citizenship.

  • I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-Beams glitter in the dark near the Tenhausser gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.

Perhaps one of the most poetic movie lines of all time. God I love Ridley Scott

  • Whats cool is Ridley asked Rutger to come up with something for that part, he went away for five mins and came back with that. Amazing.

    Vangelis made a beautiful soundtrack.

    Overall amazing film.

  • @mjmanning123 ....Rutger Hauer came up with those lines, just prior to filming the scene

  • The best movie ever!

  • Um. What ?

  • meh. i didnt really like this movie. i've seen it a few times hoping that maybe i would like it but It just doesn't do it for me

  • The effects in this movie were so incredible!

  • watched the final cut a couple months ago, i had heard of the movie but never watched it. when i did, as soon as it ended i felt like watching it again, it was the best movie i had ever seen, still is

  • i watched bladerunner in 1983 in theater, twice. best movie,.. ever. star wars was ok. blade runner is so real.

  • I wasn't even born back then...

When I saw this movie, it just got me.

    Best I ever watch.

  • That was cool. Five stars.

  • flawless flick!

  • Flawless? i don´t think so...

  • Doesn't follow the book terribly close, but unlike a lot of movies made from books it stands up on its own pretty well.

  • Bladerunner is Philip K Dick's message to us. YOUR work was awesome!

  • @Beadbud5000 To be perfectly honest, when I finished reading the book, the only thing that was going through my mind was 'what the fuck is this?!'

  • @mccarthystuart Which book?

  • L@Beadbud5000 Sorry. I replied to the wrong post.

I was referring to "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?"

which this film was originally based on.

  • Un genio, un verdadero genio. Gracias por entrevistarlo!

  • I love love love the original (not director's cut) this movie was so ahead of it's time, and I think that its because of Mr. Mead's vision of the dystopian city. I need to watch it again...

  • Really interesting.

I should definitely watch this movie now.
