Courtyard is second phase of reconstruction (after reconstruction of castle) and works will continue when archeological research will ends (btw. there were found remains of gorgeous mosaic floors of celtic oppidum)
@thelilja5 Hello thelilja, well the old form of the castle disappears in the historical fog, I am agreeing, it is not likely that it was built -the old form- by Hungarian. It is just "strange" how feverishly some citizens originate the castle of Slovaks, who did not even exist that time. However there are enough buildings to be proud of, like Kamzík TV Tower or Slovak Radio headquarters building.

In those times there were only ancestors of todays Slovaks same as exists ancestors of todays Hungarians. @OrbiTeG We are indo-europeans and yes we come from same neolitic population pool like Indians (and huge number of other nations and ethnics in Europe and Asia) but question of nationality has very little to do with genes so no we are not Indians (our cultural background except language similarity is very different). Moravia in times when Komensky born there was Markrabstvi moravske (it was one of countries of Habsburg crown), not Czech as its today and Komensky was Moravian.

Slovakia has everything from Mountains to rivers, lakes & culture, food, wine, beer - you name it.
I'm very happy to call Slovakia my new home. I just wish the language wasn't so tricky! :)

@TheCsabika78 The form which Bratislava castle have comes from form of roman bordering fortress in his foundations which was built on the BC era celtic oppidum on castle hill. In great moravia era there was fortress with three-nave basilica.
Courtyard is second phase of reconstruction (after reconstruction of castle) and works will continue when archeological research will ends (btw. there were found remains of gorgeous mosaic floors of celtic oppidum)

It is just "strange" how feverishly some citizens originate the castle of Slovaks, who did not even exist that time. However there are enough buildings to be proud of, like Kamzík TV Tower or Slovak Radio headquarters building.

In those times there were only ancestors of todays Slovaks same as exists ancestors of todays Hungarians. However none of them have not built the first fort on Bratislava castle hill (probably it was some nameless tribe in deep antiquity).

When they entered Transylvania, according to your own oldest Hungarian chronicle, Gesta Hungarorum, there were already Vlachs and Slavs living there. The Vlach duke Gelu ( "dux blachorum" ) was leading them. Check the "Conquest of Transylvania", it's just there and you cannot ever change it.
