I really dig your style of play.

I know I am meant to play this instrument. I play double tenor steel pan and I feel restricted because I just want to play ambient harmonies when everyone wants and expects the traditional sound/songs. I think the hanghang will be the instrument that truly lets me express myself and all those melodies that exist in my head.

...now I just have to get my hands on one and somehow afford to travel overseas.

This is a wonderful instrument, I was just wondering if it is tuned to one scale, or can each drum play a variety of scales?
