Yes, you must run the return line from the carburetor. The fuel flowing from the fuel tank to the carburetor and back to the tank is essentially your float bowl as on other carbs.
Cool thanks. that makes sense. Im working on it right now. I don't have a header tank. just two tanks in the top wings with flop tubes in them. Do you think perhaps I could splice the return line into just after where the two tank lines meet into one. Or should I get to work on a header tank. sorry for being a pain in the ass, but you are the only guy on the planet who would know what Im trying to do... Cheers.
Nice. I have always loved aerobatics and the Rans. My only concern with the airplane would be the engine. What kind of reliabily have you seen? My understanding it is not an off the shelf alternative.
